- The "Batman" character, Harley Quinn (real name Harleen Quinzell), was created just for Arleen by her friend, writer Paul Dini.
- She is said to provide many of the voices of radio callers on Frasier (1993), which her husband produces, only to be dubbed out later by a celebrity's voice.
