  • Trivia
Was a partner in the Famous Studios venture, which was created in in the early 1940s with Seymour Kneitel and Dan Gordon, with Sam Buchwald at the helm. The studio, originally located in Miami, was formed as an entity to separate officially and legally from Paramount the former Fleischer Studios, which had been a sub-studio of Paramount and producer of their animated shorts, until one of its chief animators, Dave Fleischer, defected and signed a contract with Columbia Pictures after falling out with his co-animator brother Max Fleischer.
