The best decision show-runners Ryan Muprhy and Brad Falchuk ever made, was to write each season of American Horror Story as a self-contained miniseries. In following a different set of characters and settings, and a storyline with its own beginning, middle, and end, American Horror Story continues to reinvent itself each and every year. Talk about a celebrity endorsement gone wrong: Octavia Spencer is suing a weight loss company, claiming it owes her $700,000 for losing 20 pounds. In response, the company says the Oscar winner undermined the company’s weight loss ad campaign.

According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, the star of “The Help” says she passed on a $3 million offer from another firm in order to sign a $1.25 million deal with Sensa Products.

But the actress says that after she lived up to her end of the deal, losing the contractually mandated weight, Sensa failed to pay her the rest of the money she was owed. Miss Spencer has sued for breach of contract and fraud, alleging that Sensa tried to “manufacture a way out of the agreement.”

The King's Speech follows King George VI (Colin Firth) as he rises to the throne pre-wwii.  It starts out with his life as a Duke, largely out of the public eye, because of his stammering. As the radio picks up steam in the 1930's, the royal family is required to give more public broadcasts, which is difficult for the young Prince Albert. 

When his elder brother decides to marry Mrs. Spencer, a divorced American, and abdicates the throne, Albert must take over.  His wife, Elizabeth (played by Helena Bomhan Carter) enlists the help of a non-traditional speech therapist after much failure with other doctors to tackle his speech impediment.
