Sotelo, Ito Aghayere, Jon Jon Briones (the father of Picard co-star Isa Briones), and Menik Gooneratne. Some of these actors hail (or hailed) from countries other than the United States,...

A family trip down to the river they said. It will be peaceful and provide closure they also said. No chance…

Led by Christian Madsen, brothers Duffy (Madsen), Gus (Ryan Carnes) and Pete (Owen Burke), accompanied by partners and children, head down to a contained village of sorts to spread the ashes of their father (Michael Madsen) across the mountain river where their childhoods remain linked. For Pete, however, his return to the river is more of a Ptsd trigger than brotherly reminise. During childhood, Pete was abducted, and when taller brother Duffy brings his child – who is later abducted – history begins to repeat itself.

The brothers, predictably, are not alike whatsoever – Duffy slightly rugged and successful,...

“Frankenstein vs. Sherlock Holmes” Project Matriculating
Jude Law, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Strong, and Rachel McAdams in Sherlock Holmes (2009)
According to Screen Daily, Parkland Pictures is creating and selling a project that pits two massive names in the annals of literature, Frankenstein and Sherlock Holmes, against each other. Aptly titled Frankenstein Vs. Sherlock Holmes, the film follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson’s investigation in Darmstadt. The film will star Shane Briant and Clement Von Franckenstein (seriously; his family inspired Mary Shelley’s novel), or so says Styd.

Writer-Director to Bring Us Sherlock Holmes vs. Frankenstein

Parkland Pictures is shepherding/selling the project which has French director Gautier Cazenave attached.

Hammer vet Shane Briant - who appeared in Captain Kronos and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell - is attached to star with Clement Von Franckenstein (apparently a real-life baron whose family name served as the inspiration for Mary Shelley's novel).
