For over 20 years until his departure in July 1996, Bill was an in-vision continuity announcer for Tyne Tees TV in Newcastle. He has also voiced over 10,000 commercials!!
He is also well known as a radio voice, having hosted programmes on both Metro Radio and BBC Radio Newcastle, before his current job as weekend overnight presenter on Century FM, also in Newcastle.
