Doctor Who Showrunner Reacts to New Season's Release Schedule
Image
Returning Doctor Who Showrunner Russell T Davies has voiced his concern at the show's newly announced release schedule on social media.

As noted by The Independent, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Davies liked a series of posts criticizing the way the new season of Doctor Who is being released. As announced last week, each new episode will debut at midnight on BBC iPlayer in the UK before airing on Saturday evening on BBC One. Davies has previously shared how much he enjoys the communal aspect of a shared release time, which is what the series previously had. David Tennant’s three specials last year, along with the Ncuti Gatwa-led Christmas special, were all released in the old format, but the BBC and Disney now look set to make a big change.

This isn't the first time that Moffat has been tipped for a return, as fans speculated that the writer could come back to write an episode for the new era of the series, led by Russell T Davies. The BBC declined to comment on these rumors.
