What Is General Hospital Planning on Doing With Dr. Isaiah Gannon?
Image
On General Hospital, Dr. Isaiah Gannon’s budding relationship with former deputy mayor Jordan Ashford suddenly stalled after she took a job with Sidwell. She felt she needed to concentrate on going undercover to bring the crime lord down. The same crime lord who held Isaiah hostage. Other than that, the handsome doctor continues to save lives at Gh. But we have a couple of questions. Why haven’t we learned anything more about the man’s backstory yet? And if he’s not involved with Jordan, what is the show planning to do with the character?

Isaiah Gannon — the Doctor

While the character is obviously tied to Gh and his medical talents will always be needed, Dr. Gannon clearly has untapped potential. He’s charming and gets along with everybody. But he also has the required confidence and skills to make him a formidable doctor. Maybe he could spearhead another big-picture hospital story.

Is General Hospital’s Isaiah From One Life To Live’s Llanview?
Image
General Hospital‘s Isaiah appears almost perfect, but is he too good to be true? His last name is familiar to any former One Life to Live viewer, and he may be part of a Llanview family.

Blasts From The Past

Many soap watchers miss the good old days with the former ABC lineup of All My Children, One Life to Live, and Gh, but the characters live in our memories. Gh has had fun bringing in actors from the canceled soaps and sometimes even old characters out of the closet.

Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) was married to the one and only Eric Kane (Susan Lucci) and a major player in Pine Valley. The attorney brought his legal skills to Port Charles in 2023. He represented Tracy (Jane Elliott) in her suit against Deception and had some great scenes with Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner).

General Hospital Spoilers: Is Isaiah A Member Of One Life To Live’s Gannon Family?
Image
General Hospital spoilers indicate that we just recently got a hint about Dr. Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) family. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) recently commented to Isaiah while he was with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that he investigated Isaiah, and that he hopes that he is not involved with what his family does.

We still do not know exactly what Isaiah’s family deals in, it certainly can’t be anything good. One Life to Live fans are very familiar with the Gannon family, as they were featured on the show. Is Isaiah somehow connected to this family from Llanview?

There have been lots of nice nods of both One Life to Live and All My Children on General Hospital lately, so it would be a fun surprise if Isaiah is connected to this One Life to Live family.

Isaiah Gannon Is R.J. Gannon’s Son

General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is Isaiah Gannon, Connected To The Llanview Gannons, Or Has A PC Connection?
Image
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease an important question-exactly who is Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson)? Might he be connected to the Llanview Gannons or might he have a Port Charles connection-other than his friend Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson)?

General Hospital Spoilers – The Gannons Were Mostly Lawyers-And One Bad Guy!

Gh fans who have watched the ABC soaps over the years will remember migrating characters between the various soaps-Skye Quartermaine (Robin Christopher) is a good example.

More recently, they made Ryan’s Hope’s Delia Coleridge (Ilene Kristen) Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) mother. And a few years back, Nora Hanen Gannon Buchanan (Hilary B. Smith) came to Port Charles to work on a court case.

Nora’s first husband was Hank Gannon (Nathan Purdee) and he and Norah had a daughter, Rachel Gannon (Daphnée Duplaix). He also had a brother, a bad guy named Rj Gannon (Timothy D. Stickney) who was a drug lord.

Timothy D. Stickney: The Wls Interview, Part Three
In Parts One and Two of our exclusive and fascinating interview with Timothy D. Stickney, the multi-talented artist discussed his draw to classical Shakespearean theater, his reaction to being told he doesn't "exist" as a black man in the arts, his response to ignorance and prejudice in his professional career, as well as his meticulous attention to R.J.'s dialogue on One Life To Live. In the third and final part below, Stickney reveals racism that took place on and off screen, and ways that we can all be part of affecting change in our communities.

We Love Soaps TV: In 12 years I don’t remember R.J. Gannon ever having one hot and heavy love scene. The other men that started in 1994-95 were constantly taking their clothes off. How much of that was racially motivated?

Timothy D. Stickney: I often had opportunities squashed. They will never,...
