Finally the new film from Dread director Anthony Diblasi has a home Stateside. The film is set to kick off Archstone Distribution's 2013 slate. The Los Angeles-based international sales company is branching out into Us distribution and plans to release up to six titles in the New Year.

The real city Cassadaga has been named the "psychic capital of the world" and the film Cassadaga reaffirms this notion. In the film, Lily seeks out a spiritual retreat after the death of her sister. What she finds instead is a malevolent ghost who demands to be set free. Her remains may or may not lie in a serial killer's abode. This murderer is still active and he wants to add Lily's head to his trophy case or at least turn her into a bloody marionette. Last week Bloody Disgusting's David Harley took to the Florida filming of Cassadaga, Clive Barker alumni Anthony Diblasi's follow-up directorial effort to Dread. Featuring Kelen Coleman ("CSI:ny"), Kevin Alejandro ("True Blood"), Louise Fletcher (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Rus Blackwell (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Hank Stone (Punisher), J Larose (Saw 3, Mother's Day, Insidious), and Amy LoCicero ("Drop Dead Diva"), the supernatural thriller centers on a deaf girl who attempts to contact her late sister's spirit during a seance but instead attracts the avenging ghost of a murdered woman. While David works on his set report, inside you'll find some of the first ever pics, including a pretty haunting image! Diblasi recently wrote, directed and exec produced Dread and served as exec producer for The Midnight Meat Train. He is co-producer for Hellraiser, currently in development.

The film, penned by Bruce Wood, centers on a deaf girl who attempts to contact her late sister's spirit during a seance but instead attracts the avenging ghost of a murdered woman.
