- Stratford said in a recent interview that by 1966, shortly after she had voiced Lucy in the first Peanuts special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," she was nearing age 12 and her voice "had gotten too old" for her to continue voicing Lucy. Stratford had also voiced Lucy in a 1963 Peanuts documentary.
- As Tracy Shaw, librarian at Squalicum High School in Bellingham WA, she was the subject of a King 5 news profile discussing her voice acting of Lucy in the Peanuts Christmas Special. It would be the only time she portrayed Lucy since her voice would mature soon after.
