About Selene
As an international Script Supervisor, I've done feature films, TV movies, mini-series, episodic television, music videos, and commercials. I've worked in India, Europe, SE Asia, North Africa, and Canada, where I currently live.
As a Script Supervisor, I've had the perfect vantage point to learn all aspects of filmmaking which has led me to do my own projects.
I directed, shot, and edited two documentaries while living in Thailand. Both films were about Lady Lea Laarakker, her art and her silk weaving project in Ban Ren Khai.
From my desk at the ILO (International Labour Organization) at the United Nations in Bangkok, I wrote an outline for a thirteen-part documentary series titled Women Homeworkers of SE Asia.
Recently, I co-directed OMFYP (Old Movies For Young People), a YouTube series created by acclaimed playwright Brad Fraser. Starring Brad Fraser, Spencer Shunk, and Paul Bellini.
For the past decade, I've worked exclusively and happily in commercials. According to Google, I've worked alongside some of the best commercial directors in the world, Tim Godsall, Nicolai Fugslig, Jeff Low, Oliver Gondry, Andreas Nilsson, Eric Lynne, Dante Ariola, Grady Hall, David Shane, Casey Storm, Benjamin Weinstein, Kathi Prosser, Mike Maguire, Vadim Perlman, Ric Cantor, Mark Zibert, and Luis Gerard.
It's been challenging and fun.
