Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Cast Recreate Iconic Dream Warriors Photo
Robert Englund
Some say that A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is the best of the franchise and for others, it saw a beloved character begin his downfall. So, when a group of the original Dream Warriors cast members reunited at New Jersey's Chiller Theatre Convention, it was kind of a big deal, no matter what your feelings are about the horror classic. But in death, he became something much worse… a horror icon.

Indeed, A Nightmare on Elm Street remains one of the scariest and...

A Nightmare On Elm Street: 10 Kool Krueger Kills
Freddy (Robert Englund exclusively, as of now) Krueger is one of horrors most iconic figures. The hideous past, the hideous face, the easily anticipated, but humorous one-liners, they’ve all helped to create a star that continues to shine today. But the best attribute Freddy possesses is an uncanny ability to manufacture creative and grizzly methods of victim disposal.

Examine a few other long running franchises, and really evaluate the quality of their sequels. The majority lose all fear factor, and loads of appeal to boot. This happens because the lines of creativity gradually disappear. We know that Michael Myers will wield his kitchen knife until the final moment of the final reel on Halloween night. We know that Jason Voorhees will celebrate every Friday The 13th with a machete. Pinhead’s going to pull out the whips and chains, Leatherface will snatch the chainsaw and the cycle will run…...
