Derek Sullivan has designed, illustrated, supervised, and fabricated costumes for
nearly 100 productions in the film, television, theatrical, and
multi-media industries. He has received numerous awards for
achievements in Theatrical Costume Design, and specializes in mascot,
and creature design, using polymer resins and foam latex. With an MFA in Illustration, he ventured into the world of publishing, creating an art coffee table book, entitled "Female of The Species: An Alphabet Journey" in 2021, showcasing mythological creatures from various world folklore, posed in the letter of their namesake.
