Another lawsuit has been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs!

Just hours after it was revealed a partial verdict was reached in the 55-year-old’s federal trial, a new lawsuit was filed Tuesday night (July 1) in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Former model and actor Edmond Laurent has filed a $10 million suit against Diddy and several others on “assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and sexual battery as well as civil conspiracy and aiding and abetting,” according to Variety.

In the suit, Edmond lays out a series of alleged incidents taking place in the late 2000s at luxury hotels in the Los Angeles area, including The Intercontinental in Century City, Sls in Beverly Hills and the Mondrian in West Hollywood.

Bradley Cooper, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Trevor Noah, Jon Stewart, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have been added to the lineup of presenters and honorees set to salute Dave Chappelle as he accepts the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center, the center announced Thursday.

Chappelle is the recipient of the 22nd annual Mark Twain Prize, and he’ll be recognized for his achievements on “Chappelle’s Show” and as a stand-up comedian during the Oct. 27 event, which will be broadcast on PBS on Jan. 6. It was previously announced that he would receive the prize back in May.

Cooper starred alongside and directed Chappelle in last year’s “A Star is Born,” and Stewart was the longtime host of “The Daily Show” during Chappelle’s tenure with “Chappelle’s Show” on “Comedy Central.”

Alina Baraz has released just two EPs of her feathery, crazily calm music — like R&B buried under a layer of permafrost — but hasn’t produced anything that could be considered a mainstream hit. And yet she has amassed over 1.2 billion streams, many more than artists who are multiple albums into major label careers. Her success is one of the clearest signs of the chasm that still separates the streaming-verse and the world of old-school commercial pop.

To hear her tell it, Baraz was a star before she was a singer.

The legendary arranger-writer-producer Quincy Jones has an extensive arsenal of go-to aphorisms. One concerns the difficult business of matching the right tune to the right singer. “The song is the power,” Jones told Rolling Stone last year. “A great song can make the worst singer in the world a star. Having a legendary producer like Quincy Jones for one's debut single is a rare opportunity for most aspiring artists. Luckily for Canadian-bred singer-songwriter Tamia, Jones crafted her 1995 hit "You Put a Move On My Heart," which became a top ten R&B hit and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Only at the Soul Train Awards could you have a tribute to R&B icons such as Anita Baker and Ronald Isley alongside a segment in which rap legend Doug E. Fresh attempts to teach CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer how to do the Dougie.

It was that kind of night at the 2010 Soul Train Awards, as rookies, veterans and legends came together in Atlanta for the second annual event — which was taped November 10 and aired Sunday night on Bet. The show, hosted once again by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, featured a night of performances from some of the biggest names in soul and R&B.

Just before Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, spoke to Oprah Winfrey on Monday, T-Pain told MTV News' Sway about reworking the musical icon's classic track "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)." The cut is on Quincy Jones' Q: Soul Bossa Nostra LP, which hit stores Tuesday.

"Aw, man, it was a mission, something I had to do, something Jackson asked me to do himself," Pain said at Lil Wayne's welcome-home party in Miami. "So it was basically a mission carried out by Quincy Jones. I think it's gonna be cool, 'cause, you know, before Jackson passed away, he was gonna do a tribute album of himself. It was gonna be everybody remaking his songs, and he was gonna be featured on the songs.
