The second season of the series will broadcast in Japan beginning in April 2025, and Crunchyroll currently streams the first season. The original I've Been Killing Slimes For 300 Years And Maxed Out My Level light novels are written by Kisetsu Morita, illustrated by Benio, and published in Japan by Sb Creative under their Ga Novel imprint. Voice Actor Yukari Tamura Postpones Her Concerts due to Health Issues

The official website for voice actor Yukari Tamura (Nanoha Takamachi in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series) has announced that she has been diagnosed with pneumonia and voice disorder due to acute vocal cord inflammation. Tamura has planned to hold her concert tour "Yukari Tamura Love ♡ Live 2024 Honey bunny," which runs through 20 locations across Japan from June 1 to September 8, 2024. But after its first performance at J:com Hall Hachiouji in Tokyo on June 1, she complained of throat problems and had difficulty singing for long periods of time. Due to this condition, the second performance at the same venue on the next day, June 2, was postponed to a future date. On June 3, she was examined by a doctor and was diagnosed with pneumonia and voice disorder due to acute vocal cord inflammation. A promo for the latest Gundam project dares fans to name the voice behind the mobile suit pilot.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom is an upcoming movie in the venerable mecha franchise that expands upon the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed subseries. A short clip on the series' official Twitter account revealed the voice of the character Griffin Arbalest -- but not the actual voice actor. Arbalest is one of the Gundam movie's new characters, meaning that he's not merely a mobile suit pilot returning from the previous anime. While the other eight new characters have already had their voice actors revealed, that's not the case for Griffin.

Highspeed Étoile has dropped a new promotional video for the upcoming futuristic car-racing anime, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

The promotional video, released via the Highspeed Étoile anime's official website, revealed the 2024 debut date and the project's new cast members. Yukari Tamura voices the interactive artificial intelligence (AI) program Ami, while Tōru Furuya narrates the anime series. Highspeed Étoile also shared a new visual.

Netflix Announces 13 New Animes Coming Soon
Netflix is diving deep into the anime game with a baker's dozen of new titles. Of those titles is a Godzilla animated film, A Children of the Whales Series, and a Holy Grail War in Fate/Apocrypha!

Earlier today, we reported that Netflix was working on a remake of Saint Seija, Knights of the Zodiac Series, but that just happens to be one part of a bigger venture Netflix is undergoing. On Netflix's insider page, they've announced 13 animes coming to the streaming service, at various times. The extensive list is as follows:

Cannon Busters Devilman Crybaby B: The Beginning (formerly Perfect Bones) Sword Gai: The Animation A.I.C.O. Incarnation Lost Song Rilakkuma Series Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya Baki Fate/Apocrypha Kakegurui Children of the Whales Godzilla

Each one of these brings a unique story and style to the Anime category on Netflix's long catalog of movies and series.

Netflix Picks Up 12 New Anime Series Projects and Godzilla Movie; Watch Some Trailers!
Netflix is going all in on anime as they add the eagerly anticipated Godzilla movie and 12 other projects to their slate of upcoming programming. Deadline says in addition to the series the network is also overseeing the development of Cannon Busters, Devilman Crybaby, B: The Beginning, and Knights Of The Zodiac: Saint Seiya just to name a few.

The Godzilla and Saint Seiya grabs really show that Netflix is working to grab their Western audience who loves anime, but with competitors like Crunchyroll and Funimation (who was recently bought by Sony) in the mix, who knows if they'll be able to compete on that front. Time will tell, but the addition of so many projects seems promising for the future of anime on the platform.
