When The Thundermans aired its final episode on Nickelodeon in 2018, it went out the way it came in five years before: as a laugh-track-studded, half-hour comedy about a family of superheroes living in a fictional suburb called Hiddenville. The jokes were plentiful. The vibes were warm. The pet bunny was evil. (More on that in a moment.)
But when the idea of a reunion movie first came up years later, says Kira Kosarin, who played Thunderman teen daughter Phoebe in the original series, things looked and felt a lot different.

The superhero sitcom The Thundermans centers around a likable cast of characters making up its titular family. In the tradition of such superhero teams as the Fantastic Four, the Incredibles, and the Strongholds, The Thundermans are a family of diversely gifted individuals. Their eponymous show involves their attempt to secretly assimilate as ordinary suburbanites in the fictional town of Hiddenville. Originally broadcast on Nickelodeon from 2013 to 2018, The Thundermans has since acquired a larger fanbase thanks to the show being available to stream on Netflix, Hulu, and Paramount Plus. Its growing popularity has even led to the production of a TV movie revival titled The Thundermans Return.
Throughout its impressively lengthy four-season run, The Thundermans' 98 episodes mostly centered around the two eldest siblings, twins Phoebe and Max, while subplots would concern their parents and younger siblings. The core cast members of the show remain mostly known for their roles among the Thunderman clan.

Digital network Brat is in production on its first multicam sitcom “Hotel Du Loone,” which is slated to air later this summer. Set inside a wacky and wondrous hotel, the show is led by Hayley LeBlanc, a nine-year-old newcomer, with a supporting cast of “The Thunderman’s” Chris Tallman, Mindy Sterling, Terri Ivens and Reinaldo Zavarce. “The Love Boat’s” Ted Lange and “Hannah Montana” alum Jason Earles round out the group. The 10-episode series will stream on Brat’s YouTube channel. “We’re one of a handful of companies in the world broadcasting TV online for free,” said Rob Fishman, co-founder of Brat, said in a statement. “With new shows like this, we’re doubling down on that proposition.” “Hotel Du Loone” joins the recently announced “A Girl Named Jo,” a teen mystery series starring Annie LeBlanc and Addison Riecke, for Brat’s summer releases. “A Girl Named Jo,...

Instead, the announcement from Nick highlights that the order will bring the live-action sitcom past the 100-episode landmark, so we're wondering if the series will end once all 103 episodes have aired. The Thundermans centers on superhero siblings, Phoebe (Kira Kosarin) and Max Thunderman (Jack Griffo), who have secret identities. The latest installment of Nerdist’s animated series Superego is up, and it’s quite enteraining – particularly if you love General Zod from Superman II. In the new segment, Chris Tallman plays Krytpon’s most ruthless general as he sits in a cell awaiting his trial. His public defender, Patton Oswalt’s Leg-El, shows up and discovers that his client is going to be anything but cooperative. The interplay between Oswalt and Tallman is hilarious, with Zod commenting on everything from Kryptonian cleavage to why he wears his uniform unbuttoned down to his midriff. He regularly mocks his court-appointed defender in increasingly hilarious ways. Oswalt is perfect as the exasperated attorney who just wants his client to behave himself during the trial. You...

We have got the latest on a fun new family comedy getting Nickelodeon’s green light. The new series is called The Thundermans and it will follow an unusual pair of twins. If you’re into superheroes, you’re going to want to pay close attention to this scoop.
The 14-year old twins will be acted by Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo. As brother and sister, they get to experience the highs and lows of sharing the same bathroom, school, and younger siblings, explained the THR exclusive. That may be their lives on the surface, but underneath it all, the boy and girl are as different as night and day; good and evil.
You see, she is smart and classy and people just love her. She fully intends on becoming a capable superhero someday. Her twin brother on the other hand is already a young super villain. Let the drama and mishaps ensue!

Nickelodeon has given a 13-episode order to superhero family comedy pilot The Thundermans. As part of the pickup, the network has recast one of the two leads, with Jack Griffo replacing Tyler Peterson who played the part in the pilot. Created by Jed Spingarn, the show is about The Thundermans, a typical suburban family that happens to have astounding superpowers. At the center of the action are the 14-year-old Thunderman twins (Griffo, Kira Kosarin), who share the same bathroom, the same school, and the same annoying little siblings. Their only difference? The sister is a super student with a super sunny disposition who super looks forward to being a superhero someday, and her twin brother is a super villain. Rosa Blasi and Chris Tallman play the parents; Diego Velazquez and Addison Riecke also co-star. This marks the third pilot from Nickelodeon’s most recent batch of pilots to get a series order,...

My name is Jon Hotchkiss and well, I make TV for a living. I began my career as a writer on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. The one question people I meet always ask me about Bill is: “Did you two get high together?” I’m kidding (and we did not). Actually, the thing people want to know is: “What’s Bill really like?” And I always give the same answer: “It’s impossible for me to say anything bad about a guy who gave me my start in show-biz. I wanted to be a guy who writes jokes for TV. And Bill let me. And got me high. (I’m kidding. Or am I?)
Bill also performed lots of jokes I wrote, including this one in front of President Clinton at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner: “Barbara Streisand is here. And she just got an honorary doctorate from Brandeis University.

It seems that David Alan Grier's Chocolate News is following in the footsteps of D.L. Hughley's CNN news show, D.L. Hughley Breaks the News. After a 10-episode run, the Comedy Central show has been cancelled.
Chocolate News features comedian Grier performing satirical commentary and sketches centered around current events and news stories. The episodes are said to reflect the comic's view of world events, and one of the network's press releases even went so far as to call it a show with an “African-American take on the news."
In truth, the series focuses more on sketch comedy than news stories, with the host playing a variety of characters -- from fictitious rappers to poet Maya Angelou. Series supporting players include Chris Tallman, Tangie Ambrose, Alphonso McAuley, Jordan Peele, Troy Curvey Jr., Paige Diaz, Luenell, Windell Middlebrooks, Janet Varney, and Gary Anthony Williams.
