Svend Erik Tarp was born on 6 August 1908 in Thisted, Denmark. He was a composer and actor, known for Hejrenæs (1953), Tre må man være (1959) and Komtessen (1961). He was married to Aase Tarp. He died on 19 October 1994 in Denmark.
