Born in Rome, Italy, Alberto Taraglio attended Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia for three years where graduated directing a 40-minute movie, "You are different," starring Sergio Castellitto. He worked as screenwriter with director Gianni Amelio in RAI tv series "I ragazzi di via Panisperna", (1988) and feature films as "Così Ridevano" ("The Way they Laughed", 1998), winner of Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1998, "La Tenerezza" ("Tenderness", 2017), nominated for the screenplay at the David di Donatello Aw. 2017, "Hammamet" (2019) and "Battlefield" (2024). Taraglio is creator and writer of some italian tv series like "Codice Rosso" (2005), "Baciato dal sole" (2016) and, as story head, the third season of "I Cesaroni" (2009).
