Christopher Tavani's acting techniques have been shaped by working with great actors such as Michael Park (Stranger Things, You) and Martha Byrne (Gotham, Anacostia). It was during his six-year recurring role as Luke Snyder on CBS's As The World Turns that Christopher honed his knack for storytelling. Christopher moved to LA in 2017 to take his swing at the big leagues and has since been seen in Netflix original series such as Trump's Casino, feature-length films such as Anastasia: Once Upon a Time and national television commercials.
After As The World Turns Christopher took time to build his real life, earning a bachelors degree in cell biology from Binghamton University and traveling the world with friends. Christopher Tavani was born in Nyack, NY to Kellyanne Smith and Frank Tavani. Kellyanne has worked in sales and client services for 15+ years in addition to being Christopher's talent manager when he was a child. Frank has worked in seafood sales for 25+ years supporting the Tavani family of three boys. Christopher's brothers Greg (26) and Jeff (30) both work in film as a NY-based photographer and an LA-based assistant director.
Christopher has been a SAG actor since 2000. His professional acting career began at the young age of 5 when his uncles recommended he begin auditioning in New York. Gregory Smith (bicoastal commercial producer) and Thomas P. Smith (LA-based Assistant director and producer) saw a calling in Christopher, and he's honed his craft ever since.
