Will Smith Pushed for Joe Pantoliano's Return in Bad Boys 4

The crux of the narrative in Bad Boys: Ride or Die is directly related to something that occurs in the previous film, Bad Boys for Life. This is, of course, the death of Joe Pantoliano's Captain Conrad Howard. He's killed by none other than Armando Aretas, the illegitimate son of Will Smith's Det. Lt. Mike Lowrey. In the most recent film, Captain Howard's name is being besmirched. And he's not even around to defend himself. ComicBook asked The Matrix actor if he gained additional closure in the reprisal of his quotable Bad Boys role, to which Pantoliano jokingly replied:

He just got extra cash. I think the audience was disappointed that they killed him off and so they found a way to bring him back.
