Charles Tazewell(1900-1972)

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Tazewell, born in 1900, began writing in
radio drama (e.g. Mayor of the Town), had some acting experience but by
the 1950's would be best known as an author of children's books. His
most famous published works include, The Littlest Angel (filmed 3 times,
plus radio broadcasts); The Small One (filmed once, + radio play
starring Bing Crosby); The Littlest Snowman (filmed as Christmas Fairy
Tale); and I'm a Fridgit! (published in 1963). He was married to the
actress Louise Skinner.
