The end of the year is not something to celebrate for Jason Statham fans, as Dec. 31 may be a rather unfortunate day for fans of the action movie actor who are subscribed to Netflix.

As per Netflix, Dec. 31 will mark the last day Statham's The Mechanic and Redemption are available to stream on the platform. Both movies are considered favorites for many fans of the actor. The Mechanic, released in 2011, served as a remake of the 1972 movie starring action genre legend Charles Bronson. Statham's version earned over $76 million at the box office upon release, and despite its initial mixed reviews, the movie has come to a place where it's fondly celebrated by fans as one of the action star's underrated films.
