Soviet cinematographer, director and teacher. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). Aleksei Temerin graduated from VGIK (1952) - the Department of Camera, workshop of Eduard Tisse. Since 1955 - director at the Mosfilm film studio. He worked as second cameraman with Sergei Urusevsky. - His first independent work - "Sasha enters into life" (1957). Teremin shot the first Soviet large-format film "The Story of the Flaming Years" (1961) together with Fedor Provorov. - Since 1959 he taught at VGIK. Member of the CPSU since 1972.
