It’s a massive weekend for boxing fans, kicking off tonight with a triple-header in New York City’s Times Square. At the top of the card is a welterweight battle between Ryan Garcia and Rolando Romero. It’ll be Garcia’s return following his one-year suspension for failed drug tests after beating Devin Haney via majority decision in April 2024. That bout was changed to a no contest.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers reveal that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) have absconded from Port Charles, leaving their daughter Sasha Reeves (Sofia Mattsson) behind.
Yes, you read that right, Gh has rewritten history to give Rolly a child he never knew about. So it makes sense that he ditches her to run off on an escapade with Holly. Huh?
General Hospital Spoilers – Robert Scorpio Joins Holly Suttonin Portugal
Holly is really being written like a skank these days. In days of yore she was a bit more lovable, but still a ne’er-do-well. Her thievery hasn’t aged well and it’s not a good look for a mature woman to cling to the cat burgler persona.
The one good thing to come of Robert taking off with Holly is that we are no longer subject to the torture of seeing Robert and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy...

Welcome to the dog days of summer, where you’ll sweat through your clothes mere seconds after stepping outside and you risk a nasty sunburn just from getting your mail.
That said, we’re more interested in the canine part of the equation. After all, what better way to distract you from a bout of heat stroke than by watching the funniest pups in the history of movies?
To determine which hilarious furballs should make our list, we reached out to all manner of dog experts — from veterinarians to dog groomers to the voice of the Taco Bell Dog to the guy who performs Rowlf for the Muppets. Which is to say: We’re confident that we most definitely barked up the right tree.
For the record, though, this list is only movie dogs, so no Eddie from Frasier or Courage the Cowardly Dog, though some of the dogs below...

Bandai Namco Entertainment has published some of the most popular games out there, including FromSoftware’s Elden Ring. The game is finally set to get its Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc two years after its release, and players are excited about it, but there’s still a wait of over two months.
The publisher has now released three brand-new games on PC via Steam, and they are available for free to all players to kill time as they wait for the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, but there is a catch as these new games aren’t as popular as Elden Ring.

Sometimes foreign language films simply exist across an insurmountable cultural divide that renders them indecipherable here. Hitoshi Matsumoto‘s Saya-zamurai [Scabbard Samurai] perfectly exemplifies through an obtusely-constructed first third before hitting its stride. Comically uneven at the start, I was left scratching my head and wondering if I was missing the joke. An old, toothless samurai with an empty scabbard breathlessly and wordlessly runs through the Japanese countryside with his young daughter following closely behind as three assassins – introduced in freeze-frame – arrive to inflict what should be mortal wounds. The attacks excise the would-be killer and victim from their backgrounds, placing them on black as bright red spurts forth from the aging relic’s body in slomotion. The samurai wails in pain, the girl heals him with a special herb, and it all happens again.

Vancouver, prepare to be to Soska'd. Two of our favorite directors, Jen and Sylvia Soska, collectively known as the Twisted Twins, are launching Horror Nights, a screening of a different horror film each month at The Rio in their home city of Vancouver.
The Soskas will kick off the inaugural Horror Nights presentation with the 2002 extreme Japanese horror film The Suicide Club. The show begins at 11pm with a video intro by Rolly Teranishi (who plays Genesis in The Suicide Club) created exclusively for Horror Nights. Also performing will be the dark goddess Little Miss Risk doing a movie-themed horror burlesque number and the Human Tackle Box Russ Foxx (whose talents are pretty much described in his name).
Tickets are only $8, and the price is knocked down to a mere $6 if you arrive in a film-related costume. Ages 19+ only. Minors, don't even think about it. For more info visit the...
