Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for A Minecraft Movie, which will open in theaters on April 4. Tickets are now on sale for the big-screen adaptation.

As you’ll see in the trailer, each character’s journey in the film reflects how Minecraft players all around the globe develop personal stories and build their universes within the game because, as you know, anything is possible in the Overworld!

Warner Bros. has also announced a Minecraft game add-on for fans of the game. For a limited time, starting on February 27, fans in the US who purchase tickets to A Minecraft Movie through Fandango will receive access to an exclusive in-game jetpack add-on for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

We’re excited to announce today that Cineverse has saved director Macon Blair’s The Toxic Avenger remake and plans an unrated wide theatrical release later this year.

Bloody Disgusting’s parent company Cineverse acquired all U.S. and Canadian theatrical, home entertainment, and streaming rights through a deal with Legendary Entertainment.

The news was first reported by Variety this afternoon.

This fresh take on the beloved anti-hero known as “Toxie” was directed by Macon Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore) and stars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”), Kevin Bacon, and Elijah Wood.

It's been a long time since a Minecraft movie was first announced. However, next year will finally see the release of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' A Minecraft Movie, the first-ever big screen, live-action adaptation of the best-selling video game of all time.

As we first reported on GameFragger.com, the first teaser trailer and poster for the movie have been released following a leak this summer which saw us get an early glimpse at several lead characters.
