Star Wars: The High Republic: Tempest Breaker by Cavan Scott is an audio drama that is crucial to The High Republic's endgame. The story begins with the former Nihil Tempest Runner, Lourna Dee, being interviewed by a journalist, Rhil Dairo.
The audio drama alternates between the interview and showing the events Lourna is describing, in which she teams up with her former enemies, Jedi Masters Avar Kriss and Keeve Trennis, to stop the blight that has devastated the galaxy. In exchange, the Republic will pardon Lourna for her past crimes and grant her freedom.
The Phase I audio drama, Tempest Runner, was a smaller story that was primarily focused on Lourna, revealing her tragic backstory and who she wants to be moving forward. While Lourna is still the protagonist of Tempest Breaker, it is a much larger and more consequential story where a potential cure for the blight hangs in the balance.

Chris Evans Was Perfectly Cast As Casey Jones In This 17-Year-Old Tmnt Movie That Never Got A Sequel
Although Tmnt is one of the more forgotten Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle adaptations, it features a perfectly cast Chris Evans as Casey Jones, which makes it worth a watch. Released in 2007, Tmnt follows the turtles shortly after the defeat of the Shredder, the main antagonist to the turtles in the franchise. In the animated movie, Chris Evans voices Casey Jones, April's boyfriend and an ally to the turtles.
Even though Tmnt never got the sequel it deserved, it is a great standalone movie that features aspects of previous Tmnt adaptations. Evans' Casey Jones, in particular, is heavily inspired by the Casey voiced by Marc Thompson in the 2003 animated series and Pat Fraley in the 1987 Tmnt movie. Chris Evans' history in the superhero genre especially adds to the significance of his casting in the 2007 version.

Commendably transparent documentary following poet and ex-con Marc Thompson, as he deals with past traumas and tries to overcome the obstacles that hamper his re-entry into society
When Marc Thompson speaks, his words roll off the tongue like poetry, their melodic and precise fluidity damningly conjuring the reality of racist victimisation. The force of nature that he is animates Maria Petschnig’s documentary, which juxtaposes Thompson’s daily rituals as an unhoused person in New York with his contemplation of his incarcerated past and the systemic obstacles that hamper his re-entry into society.
With no fixed address, Thompson eats and sleeps in his car; this is a precarious arrangement steeped in feelings of freedom as well as shame, a paradoxical and transient state that perfectly encapsulates the film’s title. Mostly observing Thompson from behind, the camera follows his trips to the gym, the laundromat, the library; he has written...

A plucky chick and hoity-toity storks help this family-friendly animation take flight
This competently crafted animated feature, a Germany-Luxembourg-Belgium co-production, posits the story of a sparrow (voiced by Cooper Kelly Kramer) called Richard, a name so oddly quotidian for a cartoon hero one has to wonder if it has a different resonance in central Europe.
Orphaned as a chick when his parents are cruelly taken by a weirdly drawn animal one can only assume is meant to be a cat, Richard is adopted by a family of hoity-toity bourgeois storks. Later, it comes as a shock to learn that he is not a stork and, when his adoptive family flies off to make their annual migration to Africa, Richard is determined to catch up with them. New characters join him on the journey, including a ditsy but savant-like Owl (Shannon Conley), much like the Ellen DeGeneres character in the Finding Nemo and Finding Dory films,...

There's a new Transformers animated series coming out for Cartoon Network called Transformers: Cyberverse, and it actually looks like it could be good! The designs for the series were inspired by the classic 80s cartoon series and the plot of the show kinda sounds like Christopher Nolan's Memento! Here is a description of the story which focuses on a new Bumblebee adventure:
Bumblebee is on a critical mission, but his memory chips are damaged and he has to recover details of his past experiences on Cybertron.Only by uncovering his actions on his mechanical homeworld can he figure out what his purpose is on Earth. Meanwhile, the Decepticons are also closing in on him.
When talking about the visual designs of the show, Tom Warner, Senior VP for the Transformers franchise at Hasbro had this to say:
"When we were designing the look and feel of Transformers: Cyberverse, we...

There's a new Star Wars audiobook coming out called From a Certain Point of View, which will tell 40 stories from 40 different authors. The stories will focus on several different characters throughout the Star Wars universe including X-wing pilots, droid-hunting stormtroopers, and even some of the background characters from Star Wars: A New Hope.
One of these stories focuses on Boba Fett. The story is called "Added Muscle" and the story is written from Boba Fett's perspective. The story was written by Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series), and Jon Hamm (Mad Men) has been cast in the role of Boba Fett! Great casting and it will be fun to hear him voice this legendary Star Wars character. Do you think Hamm is a good choice? Would you like to see him play a version of the character in a movie?

Turtles Forever Directed by: Roy Burdine and Lloyd Goldfine Written by: Robert David, Matthew Drdek, Lloyd Goldfine Starring: Michael Sinterniklaas, Wayne Grayson, Sam Riegel, Gregory Abbey, Darren Dunstan, Marc Thompson, Veronica Taylor The times they are a changin'. Nowadays, even Michaelangelo is irritated by the grinning, pun-happy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of old. Sure, it may be a slap in the face to fans of the older series they grew up with, but Turtles Forever is just fan service topped with fan service with a side order of fan service. The concept is nothing short of brilliant, having multiple generations of the Ninja Turtles meet in their own dimensions via portals. The movie features three groups of Turtles: the recent '03 series, the original '90s cartoon, and the comic book source material. It's how these three intertwine that makes this work. What used to make total sense back in...

Working as a voiceover artist in New York City can be a heady, exciting experience for an actor. Getting started and getting work can also be rife with frustration, and today's market conditions are a study in contrasts. The voiceover landscape in New York is shifting beneath everyone's feet, but one thing remains constant: Getting work starts with getting an agent.Locating the agencies that take on new clients can be easier than one might think. Even the big agencies will listen to the demos of artists with real talent. As Robyn Stecher, executive vice president of the commercial department at Don Buchwald & Associates, says, "We have both developmental and seasoned talent, with agents that deal with each, and if someone comes in with talent, we will listen to them. We can hear great talent pretty easily."Buchwald & Associates still prefers to have clients use the agency's in-house studios to record auditions.
