TV journalist. Used to host animal programs for Danmarks Radio during
the 70s, 80s and 90s. "Dus med dyrene" (1980), "Hund og hund
imellem" (1988) and "Naturlig forklaring, En" (1989) were all
widely successful shows in Denmark (loosely translates into: "Friends
with animals", "Between dog and dog" and "A natural explanation"). When
Poul Thomsen did the programs "Dus med dyrene" he always had his dog
'Balder' with him in the studio. The dog became maybe the most famous
dog in Denmark.
