Dmitry Torgovitsky grew up in Russia (back then the Soviet Union) and was educated there as a scientist. In 1990 he came to the United States and entered New York University, where he studied film.
Since 1995 Torgovitsky has been working in Film and Television in US, Canada and Japan.
