School Spirits season 3 is confirmed and will be headed to Paramount+ sometime in 2026. Now, we've just learned that production is officially underway in Vancouver. This just means we're one step closer to uncovering what happens next after that jaw-dropping season 2 finale.

The official School Spirits Instagram page was the first to announce the start of filming. A short video was shared on the page on July 21, showcasing rapid snapshots of the cast, with bold text appearing in the center that reads, "Season 3 now in production." School Spirits stars Sarah Yarkin and Kristian Ventura, who play Rhonda and Simon in the series, were quick to jump in the comment section. Their reaction to the video only got fans even more excited and eager for what’s coming next.

“School Spirits” has tapped Jennifer Tilly, Ari Dalbert and Erika Swayze as guest stars for its upcoming third season.

Tilly, Dalbert and Swayze will appear on the the Paramount+ series for the first time when it returns for Season 3, the streamer announced Monday. Tilly will play school superintendent Dr. Deborah Hunter-Price while Dalbert plays Kyle and Swayze plays Livia.

Season 3, which officially began production in Vancouver on Monday, also upped Ci Hang Ma and Miles Elliot to series regulars.

The series adaptation of Judy Blume’s novel “Forever” will premiere Thursday, May 8, on Netflix.

Showrunner and creator Mara Brock Akil is behind the new series, which is based on the 1975 book that follows teenagers and their experience of losing their virginity. The streaming platform announced this morning that School Spirits Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, January 30, with a three-episode drop.

While we’re excited to get some much-needed resolution to the many mysteries School Spirits Season 1 threw our way, the fact that it premieres in just over a week is concerning.

Promotion can make or break any project, so announcing a premiere date this close to the debut date doesn’t instill hope that many people will find it.

School Spirits Season 1 had a devoted audience, but it’s hard to tell whether they’ll get the message in time that new episodes are available to devour.

Genre shows are disappearing before our very eyes, and the last thing we need is for School Spirits to face a similar fate.

The first season of Paramount+’s School Spirits ended with Maddie finally uncovering the secret to her death…and it turns out she’s not really dead after all. Janet, a ghost, took over Maddie’s body so she’s stuck in the afterlife, hanging out with others who’ve died at the high school. School Spirits season 2 will premiere sometime in early 2025 on Paramount+, per Deadline. Just like the first season, the second installment is expected to have a total of 8 episodes to tell what's coming up next in the story. Though this has not been confirmed yet.

Production has kicked off on School Spirits season 2. The entire main cast is set to return, with Josh Zuckerman being promoted to series regular. Cihang Ma, Jess Gabor, Miles Elliot, and Zack Calderon will also be joining the cast.

Ian Tracey guest stars as Charlie McGannon, an old friend of Nikki’s—and current Irish mob boss—who asks her for an impossible favor. “Owen Maloy’s my problem,” he says in our clip. “I’ll handle him. MGM+ on Wednesday unveiled the key art and official trailer for Billy the Kid Season 2, and it promises to be filled with action.

Billy the Kid will be back on TV screens very soon.

MGM+ this week that Billy the Kid Season 2 will debut on Sunday, October 15, at 9 p.m. Et/Pt.

There is a little bit of a catch:

Four episodes of the season will air this year, with the final four being held until 2024.

A reason for the decision has not been revealed, but there's a good chance it has something to do with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The network, formerly known as Epix, is returning to the Wild West for a sophomore run of the series, which stars Tom Blyth as the eponymous character.

Inspired by the life of America’s most infamous outlaw, the show launched in April 2022.

It stars Daniel Webber as Evans as well as Eileen O’Higgins, Sean Owen Roberts, Dakota Daulby, Ryan Kennedy and Ian Tracey among its ensemble cast.

The series is produced by MGM+ Studios, formerly known as Epix Studios, and Amazon Studios: Pan-English Scripted TV, the rebranded division run by Rola Bauer, in association with Amblin Television and De Line Pictures.

It comes from creator and writer Michael Hirst, who exec produces alongside Donald De Line, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

If nothing changes (and if 2020 has taught us anything it probably will), movie theaters will be opening en masse in the U.S. within the next couple of weeks. Rlje Films has debuted an official trailer for an indie action drama titled A Score to Settle, the latest from filmmaker Shawn Ku (Beautiful Boy). Nicolas Cage stars in this in another crazy indie role to go with all of his other crazy indie flicks recently. Cage plays an ex-enforcer for a local crime syndicate who has vowed to enact retribution on his mob bosses after 22 years of wrongful imprisonment. The only thing diverting his violent plans is a new found relationship to his beloved son. The full cast includes Benjamin Bratt, Noah Le Gros, Mohamed Karim, Karolina Wydra, & Ian Tracey. I'm not even sure just how much action this will have, but it definitely does look like it has the perfect amount of rage for Cage to rock.
