Judge Dredd | Brand new movie on the way
Image
Taika Waititi and Drew Pearce are trying to bring Judge Dredd to the big screen again – more on the very welcome story here.

Now this is slightly unexpected, but certainly interesting. A third feature adaptation of the much-loved 2000Ad strip Judge Dredd is heading to the screen, and it already looks as though it has a bit of momentum behind it.

Taika Waititi is set to direct the new film, which is going to be working from a screenplay by Drew Pearce. The latter’s last high profile movie was the underappreciated The Fall Guy, and for Waititi, his last feature was Next Goal Wins.

The pair are reportedly friends, and have been looking for a project to collaborate on. Then they landed on the pages of 2000Ad, and the idea is for the new movie to launch a universe of Judge Dredd screen work.

We’ve heard that before,...

Dredd 2 Was Never Going To Happen, So The Just-Announced Reboot Was Inevitable
Image
It's official: A "Judge Dredd" reboot is in development. This time, "Thor: Ragnarok" director and Oscar winner Taika Waititi will be at the helm. He's teaming up with screenwriter Drew Pearce, the screenwriter of "The Fall Guy" and "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation" fame, making for an attractive duo. But fans of 2012's "Dredd" may be unhappy as this is a reboot and not a sequel, so don't expect to see Karl Urban putting the helmet back on.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new "Judge Dredd" movie based on the character from the "2000 Ad" comic series is being shopped to various Hollywood studios, with a bidding war likely to ensue. This project seemingly takes the place of the "Judge Dredd: Mega-City One" TV show that had been in the works since 2017. The franchise rights holders, Chris Kingsley, Jason Kingsley, and Ben Smith, are on board as producers alongside Roy Lee,...

Taika Waititi, Drew Pearce Team for New Big Screen ‘Judge Dredd’ Adaptation
Image
“Judge Dredd” has returned.

The popular British comic book character, who has been adapted twice for the big screen before (in 1995 with Sylvester Stallone essaying the character and again in 2012 with Karl Urban in the title role), is headed back to the theaters.

Drew Pearce, the writer of “The Fall Guy” and Michael B. Jordan’s upcoming “The Thomas Crown Affair,” is teaming with director Taika Waititi for a new iteration of the character, TheWrap has learned.

No details of the new take on the character have been revealed at this time.

Pearce and Waititi are fully on board for the new iteration of the character. The two are old friends, having both served time in the trenches at Marvel Studios – Pearce co-wrote “Iron Man 3,” directed a short for the company and wrote a script for a “Runaways” project, while Waititi directed “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Thor: Love and Thunder...

After a 13 Year Delay, Judge Dredd Is Back With the Help of an Oscar-Winning Marvel Veteran
Image
The judge will rule the streets again. In a surprise announcement, THR reported that a new Judge Dredd movie is in the works, and no one less than director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) is attached to helm it. Details of the upcoming adaptation are yet to come, but once again the story will adapt the comic book stories created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. A release window is yet to be announced as well.

Many will consider Waititi and Dredd a match made in heaven. Per THR, the idea is to draw more from the character's comic book origins rather than the previous iterations in cinema — which starred Sylvester Stallone (Tulsa King) in 1995 and Karl Urban (The Boys) in 2012. This means that the new Judge Dredd will have a bigger focus on worldbuilding and the characteristic dark humor that will make it an entertaining blockbuster movie to watch. Will...

Forest Whitaker, Tom Hardy, Timothy Olyphant, Sunny Pang, and Jessie Mei Li in Havoc (2025)
Havoc (2025) isn’t your typical action thriller. If that kind of gritty, relentless energy is your thing, then you’ll definitely want to check out these movies like Havoc. Each one brings its own intense flavor of crime, chaos, and complicated heroes.

Kill Zone (Spl)

Karl Urban at an event for Star Trek Beyond (2016)
Rumor: Karl Urban returning for a 'Dredd' series from The Boys team
Karl Urban at an event for Star Trek Beyond (2016)
Back in 2012, Karl Urban starred as all-encompassing law enforcement officer Judge Dredd in Alex Garland's cult movie Dredd. Now, 13 years later, rumors are circulating that Urban could make a triumphant return to our screens as the titular character. The reported reboot comes in the form of a TV series from the production team behindThe Boys, where Urban plays fan-favorite Billy Butcher.

The 2012 Dredd movie was a pretty good comic book movie, but it was very much let down by frankly terrible marketing (or lack thereof). Helmed by Pete Travis (Civil War) and written by Alex Garland (28 Days Later), Dredd suffered badly at the box office. The reported numbers suggest it took just $41.5 million from a $30-$45 million budget. Of course, it may well have been bogged down by other genre movies of the years; all eyes were on The Avengers at the time, for instance.

Despite everything going against it,...

'Dredd' Writer Alex Garland Recalls the "Bloody Mess" Surrounding Pete Travis Directing Controversy
Image
Over a decade after it was released in 2012, Dredd, starring Karl Urban, has become a cult classic. Adapted from the comic book series 2000 Ad by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, the film was directed by Pete Travis, with Ex Machina and Civil War director, Alex Garland, penning the screenplay. However, when the film was released, there was a lot of controversy and debate surrounding Travis' actual involvement in the film. Reports were released stating that Travis abandoned the project late in production, and that Garland technically made his directorial debut by filling in and completing the movie.

During a recent interview with GQ to promote his upcoming movie, Warfare, Alex Garland clarified the long-running dispute surrounding Dredd, and said that fans have been way too harsh and dismissive of Pete Travis' contributions to the movie. The dispute between Travis and Garland was caused by the studio wanting movie sets to work more like prestige TV,...

This one underrated comic movie proves Karl Urban is a Sci Fi & Fantasy icon
Image
Since at least his appearance in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, Karl Urban has been building quite the impressive resume, particularly carving out a niche for himself as a fan favorite in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy space. Although Urban hasn't quite become a household name in the same way some of his co-stars have, he continues to get pretty significant roles in high-profile movies and TV shows.

Some of the highlights of Urban's filmography from the late 90s to now include:

• Julius Caesar in the Sam Raimi-produced Hercules and Xena shows

• Éomer in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings

• Vaako in The Chronicles of Riddick

• Bones in the J. J. Abrams Star Trek reboot series

• Skurge the Executioner in Thor: Ragnarok

Additionally, Urban has found major success on a streaming series in the lead role of Billy Butcher on Amazon's adaptation of The Boys. Fans...

Alex Garland explains how he ended up ghost-directing Dredd
Image
Alex Garland is really cooking as of late. Over the last year, he’s dropped a provocative hypothetical scenario with Civil War and has just co-directed another unconventional war movie, Warfare, which he made in collaboration with Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza. He also reunites with Danny Boyle for the now hotly anticipated post-apocalyptic sequel 28 Years Later. Garland recently sat down with GQ to reflect on his notable films and he would talk about a movie that he isn’t credited on as a director — 2012’s Dredd. Garland would reveal that he had actually directed a significant amount of the film for complicated reasons.

When talking about his directorial debut, Ex Machina, Garland revealed that it is a bit of a fib that the movie is considered his first directing job. Garland said, “In truth, what happened, just to be candid about it, look, a lot of time has passed,...

Alex Garland in 28 Days Later (2002)
Dredd | Alex Garland confirms he ghost-directed the film
Alex Garland in 28 Days Later (2002)
Warfare filmmaker Alex Garland has confirmed rumours that he ghost-directed 2012’s Dredd, even though Pete Travis is listed in the credits.

Before Alex Garland became an acclaimed director, he was a novelist and then screenwriter. However, the Civil War filmmaker’s step into directing stemmed from – in part at least – a desire to have to not relinquish control over the creative process once cameras start rolling, something most writers simply have to accept as the way things are.

With 2012’s Dredd, Garland was determined for this to not be the case, and rumours have long suggested the working relationship on set between he and Pete Travis – the film’s credited director – was not as clean-cut as most film productions. A few years ago, the film’s star Karl Urban publicly stated that Garland directed the film, which did little to dampen the speculation.

Years later, Garland has finally opened up...

Director Alex Garland Seemingly Confirms He Ghost-Directed A Modern Sci-Fi Classic
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

It looks like a longstanding rumor surrounding a modern sci-fi action classic has finally been confirmed. The movie in question is 2012's "Dredd," which was written by Alex Garland of "28 Days Later" and "Never Let Me Go" fame (among many other things). Garland has, in the years since that movie first hit theaters, become a notable director, helming everything from the Oscar-winning "Ex-Machina" to "Civil War." But it turns out he also had a secret hand in directing Karl Urban as Judge Dredd.

In a recent interview with GQ that saw Garland breaking down his filmography, the filmmaker revealed that he has done some ghost-directing in his day. While he didn't get into specifics, it's crystal clear he was talking about the beloved box office bomb that was "Dredd." Here's what Garland had to say:

Karl Urban in Dredd (2012)
Dredd (2012) – What Happened to This Sci-Fi Action Film?
Karl Urban in Dredd (2012)
A new episode of our What Happened to This Horror Movie? video series has just been released, and with this one we’re taking a look back at the 2012 sci-fi action film Dredd (watch it Here), which is based on the same comic book source material as the 1995 Sylvester Stallone movie Judge Dredd, but took a more faithful approach to the adaptation. You can hear all about it by checking out the video embedded above.

The official word is that Dredd was directed by Pete Travis from a screenplay by Alex Garland, although we were told that Garland actually directed the movie. The film has the following synopsis: The America of the post-apocalyptic future is an irradiated wasteland, a vast, ultraviolent world where criminals control the mean city streets. Ultimate law enforcers like Dredd and his new partner, Anderson, are Judges—the only force battling for justice. Dispatched by the central authority,...

How Sylvester Stallone Really Feels About His Judge Dredd Movie
Image
Sylvester Stallone's "Judge Dredd" is not remembered as one of the best sci-fi movies ever, to say the least. Lambasted by critics and disliked by audiences, the 1995 film earned a disappointing $113.5 million at the global box office against a $90 million budget and remains conspicuously absent from lists of Stallone's finest films.

To his credit, Stallone hasn't attempted to bury his futuristic flop. Instead, he's been known to discuss the film when the opportunity calls for it. In 2006, the star addressed some of the issues "Judge Dredd" had while answering fan questions for Ain't It Cool News:

"I think, from what I recall, the whole project was troubled from the beginning. The philosophy of the film was not set in stone – by that I mean 'Is this going to be a serious drama or with comic overtones' like other science fiction films that were successful? So a lotta pieces just didn't fit smoothly.

Sylvester Stallone's Judge Dredd Features An Easter Egg Only Diehard Fans Caught
Image
The 1995 Sylvester Stallone sci-fi action movie "Judge Dredd" is kind of a hot mess. Based on the "Judge Dredd" stories in the British comic anthology series "2000 A.D.," the movie follows Stallone as the eponymous Judge Dredd, one of a number of "judges" who serve as judge, jury, and executioner in an attempt to stop rampant crime in an overpopulated city. With his iconic red and black helmet and massive golden epaulets on his shoulders, Stallone's Dredd is a pretty direct rendition of his comic book counterpart. While fans of the comics didn't get exactly what they wanted out of a "Judge Dredd" film until Pete Travis's "Dredd" came along in 2012, starring Karl Urban as the grimacing super-cop, there were at least a few nods to the source material in the Stallone version, including one seriously deep cut reference.

Towards the end of "Judge Dredd," which might just be...

A Beloved Karl Urban Action Movie Is Finding A New Audience On Max
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

More than a decade after it failed to find its audience in theaters, a now-beloved sci-fi/action movie is finding a new audience on streaming. "Dredd," released in 2012 and starring Karl Urban as the titular Judge Dredd, has become a hit on Max since making its way back to the streaming service recently. So much so that it's become one of the most-watched movies on the service overall.

"Dredd," as of this writing, is sitting in the number two spot on Max's most-watched movie chart, per FlixPatrol. It trails only Michael Keaton's 2024 starring vehicle "Goodrich." It's also sitting comfortably above other one-time hits such as Tom Holland's video game adaptation "Uncharted" and "Speed," among others. One key difference here is that many of the movies in the streamer's top ten right now were successful in their day, including the "Final Destination" franchise,...

Alex Garland's 'Dredd' is Streaming On Max

The 2012 comic book adaptation Dredd has become a streaming hit on Max. As more people revisited the film or experienced it for the first time, it moved up from the #8 spot on the top 10 movies list to #3. Karl Urban stars as the titular character in the film, which takes place in the violent and crime-ridden Mega City One. Cops called Judges, who serve as judges, juries, and executioners, patrol the streets and deliver brutal justice.

Urban's Dredd and his rookie psychic partner Cassandra (Olivia Thirlby) enter the dangerous territory of powerful drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey), with a power struggle ensuing and the two Judges trapped in an apartment complex filled with hardened criminals. Comic Book Action Movie 'Dredd' to Stream on Max From Next Month
Image
One of the greatest comic book movie adaptations of all time is headed to Max next month. And, not only does it rank highly in the realm of comic book movies, it gets top marks for action too. Released back in 2012, Dredd brings the 2000 Ad series of comic books, and the dystopian adventures of Judge Dredd, to life rather expertly, pitting the no-nonsense law enforcement officer against a tirade of criminals after he and his rookie partner find themselves locked inside one of Mega-City One's worst tower blocks.

Directed by Pete Travis from a screenplay by 28 Days Later writer and Civil War director Alex Garland (who reportedly also took on most of the directing duties for Dredd), the movie stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd alongside Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Domnhall Gleeson, Wood Harris, and Langley Kirkwood. Based on the 2000 Ad series of comic books, Dredd takes place in a dystopian future where human survivors are crammed into Mega Cities. The movie follows the titular Judge Dredd and his rookie Cassandra, as they investigate a vicious drug ring in Mega-City One's worst tower block. Forget Cersei Lannister; Lena Headey Is at Her Most Diabolical in This Bloody, Dystopian Sci-Fi Thriller
Image
Lena Headey may be most remembered for her astonishing portrayal of Cersei Lannister, the conniving femme fatale on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, as she captivated worldwide audiences for nearly a decade with her elegantly cruel demeanor. But portraying the iconic Lannister has not been her most ruthless or diabolical role by a long shot. That distinction would go to her turn as Ma-Ma in the bloody, dystopian sci-fi thriller Dredd, which hit theaters back in 2012. The film, directed by Pete Travis and written for the screen by a young Alex Garland, also stars Karl Urban in the titular role and Olivia Thirlby as Judge Anderson, a rookie psychic who is paired with Dredd a la Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke in Training Day.

Alex Garland Reflects on Ex Machina Providing an "Antidote" to Toxic Movie Sets He Worked On
Image
For his official directorial debut, Alex Garland found the on-set atmosphere of Ex Machina quite refreshing.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Garland and producer Andrew Macdonald looked back on their past work at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, including how Ex Machina kicked off Garland's filmmaking career a decade ago. "I never wanted to be a director," Garland confessed, explaining that his motive behind this career choice was "to stop directors from changing things and the only way to do that was by occupying that position [of director]." Nonetheless, he enjoyed the camaraderie that went into making his film, describing the cast as "young and very hard-working and very committed. We had a very friendly crew that believed in the project and was working as hard as they could. There was a good vibe, and everyone was pulling together. It was friendly."

9 Judges In Dredd’s 2012 Movie Explained

The film "Dredd" follows Judge Dredd and his probationary recruit Cassandra Anderson as they fight crime in a dystopian city with scarce resources. Dredd's Budget Explained & How Much It Made At The Box Office
Image
Despite being released during the comic book movie craze, "Dredd" failed to achieve the same success as other big studio films like "The Avengers" and "The Dark Knight Rises." "Dredd" had a budget of $45 million and was filmed in South Africa to cut down on costs. Although "Dredd" did not earn enough at the box office to break even with its budget, it received positive reviews and saw success after its release on home video, leaving room for a potential sequel in the future.

Dredd came out in 2012, at the height of the comic book movie craze, but it failed to attain the same success as the likes of The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, both of which premiered in the same year. The science fiction action film was based on the Judge Dredd comics, created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. The movie was directed by Pete Travis,...

The Friendship Game Review: Frustrating Horror Mystery Feels Like a Messy Rough Draft
Image
The idea of “friends forever” is a nice sentiment that many people think about throughout high school. For some, it’s hard to imagine growing apart from one’s best friends even at the face of dramatic changes like relocation, college aspirations, and personal growth. These are concepts screenwriter Damien Ober plays around with in a horror mystery/thriller that aims to test loyalty among a group of high school friends as they transition to new chapters in their lives. Directed by Scooter Corkle, The Friendship Game had all the elements it needed to succeed in this genre. However, the film tends to bite off more than it can chew, and the end result is a colossal disappointment.

Cotton (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), Zooza (Peyton List), Courtney (Kelcey Mawema), and Robbie (Brendan Meyer) will be friends to the end — at least, that’s what they think before a mysterious object puts...

A Fresh Take on ‘Marie-Antoinette’: On Set of the Dazzling New Costume Drama
Image
On the outskirts of Paris, in a vast, industrial-looking studio in Bry-sur-Marne, the clocks have turned back to the 1770s. Opulent decor — gilded furniture, flower-adorned curtains and marble everywhere — fills the soundstage.

The atmosphere is studious on the set of “Marie-Antoinette,” a lavish French-produced costume drama created, co-written and executive produced by Deborah Davis. She’s delivering a feminist take on an infamous historical figure, best-known for apocryphally advising the starving masses to eat cake. We all know how that ended.

On screen, Marie-Antoinette hasn’t been treated better than she was at the guillotine, where she’s often depicted as a villain or a frivolous airhead.

“I found the fighter, and I loved being with her all the way through her battles,” says Davis, the Oscar-nominated writer of “The Favourite,” which focused on another queen, England’s Anne.

Emilia Schüle, a rising Russian-born German actor, plays Marie-Antoinette, an Austrian...

Karl Urban in Dredd (2012)
Wtf Happened to Dredd?
Karl Urban in Dredd (2012)
Fans widely saw 2012’s Dredd as the movie that finally got Judge Dredd right. The 1995 Sylvester Stallone film was a notable flop, with Stallone’s career taking years to recover, and many thought the idea of making a movie based on the 2000 A.D character wasn’t going to be in the cards. However, the 2012 film, which starred Karl Urban in the lead opposite Olvia Thirlby and Lena Headey, was adored by fans and is considered one of the best sci-fi action films in recent years. Yet, it was a financial bust, and behind the scenes, there was a lot of drama involving the credited director, Pete Travis, and writer-producer Alex Garland.

Like The Raid: Redemption, Dredd takes its approach to action floor-by-floor in a dilapidated apartment complex. With bullets whizzing by, drugs consumed, and a bounty on the heads of our heroes, Travis’ film takes the title character beyond his limits.

Tales From The Box Office: The Financial Failure Of Dredd Remains A Tragedy
Image
(Welcome to Tales from the Box Office, our column that examines box office miracles, disasters, and everything in between, as well as what we can learn from them.)

When a movie is initially released, it feels like its financial performance is the biggest measuring stick to determine its success. But we have countless examples of films that failed in their day only to become stone-cold classics that had a rich life well beyond their opening weekend. Let us never forget that "The Thing" and "Blade Runner" both had to open against "E.T." but they were not lost to the sands of time. But sometimes, the sting of failure cuts deeper because absolutely everything seemed right, and yet, it doesn't click with moviegoers. Such was the case with 2012's "Dredd," a movie so good that its relative disappointment still hurts a full decade later.

In honor of the film's 10th anniversary,...

Marie Antoinette (2022)
Banijay’s ‘Marie Antoinette’ Licensed to BBC First in Australia (Exclusive)
Marie Antoinette (2022)
Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay, has licensed eight-part historical drama “Marie Antoinette” to BBC First in Australia.

Created and written by Deborah Davis (“The Favourite”), “Marie Antoinette” tells the story of the incredibly modern and avant-garde young queen, played by Emilia Schüle (“Ku’damm 56/ 63”). It was previously licensed to U.K. public broadcaster BBC2.

Marie Antoinette was barely 14 years old when she left Austria to marry the Dauphin of France. Growing from a stubborn young princess navigating the rules of the French court under pressure to continue the Bourbon line, to a true fashion icon, she impressed with her charisma, and recreated life in Versailles in her image: free, independent and feminist. Even with rumours undermining her reputation, the notorious figure was able to defeat her enemies at the Versailles court with courage and dignity.

The show was co-written by Louise Ironside (“The Split”), Avril E. Russell...

‘Marie Antoinette’ Team Credits Bry Studios for ‘Seamless’ Shoot
Image
As production days notch upward across Paris, crews both local and international can sometimes find themselves competing not only for personnel and materials but also with a separate industry that predates the invention of the camera by several hundred years – the tourist trade.

In 2019, France was the world’s leading travel destination, hosting 90 million international visitors. Though obviously such numbers took a substantial hit when global travel tapered off in early 2020, much of the infrastructure and protocols meant to serve that older industry have very much remained in place.

To see one such challenge this creates, one need only look to the Château de Versailles, which keeps traditional museum hours, remaining open to the public six days a week. As the producers behind the upcoming Canal Plus series “Marie Antoinette” quickly learned – and those prepping the Johnny Depp-led, Maïwenn-directed Louis Xv project set to shoot there later this...

Dredd TV Show Is Written and Ready to Go, Karl Urban & Sylvester Stallone Both Wanted
Image
Back in May 2017, it was announced that a Judge Dredd TV show, titled Mega-City One, was in the works. The project has been in development ever since. Now, we have a new update courtesy of Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley. Rebellion is the company in control of the rights to the franchise currently. As Kingsley reveals, the show is ready to go, it's just a matter of getting things together once the world settles back down. And, if all works out, they want both Karl Urban and Sylvester Stallone to come back.

Jason Kingsley was recently a guest on V2A Emergency Broadcast System, a YouTube series dedicated to all things post-apocalyptic. During the conversation, the subject of Mega-City One naturally came up. Kingsley revealed that lots of work is being done on various projects within the franchise, including the long-awaited series. Sylvester Stallone at an event for The Oscars (2016)
Defense Noted: 10 Behind-The-Scenes Facts About Dredd
Sylvester Stallone at an event for The Oscars (2016)
In the mid-‘90s, Sylvester Stallone brought 2000 A.D.’s Judge Dredd character to the big screen in a movie aptly titled Judge Dredd. Unfortunately, the movie was rated PG-13, Rob Schneider co-starred as a supposedly comedic sidekick, and Dredd took off his helmet a bunch of times, so fans were bitterly disappointed by it.

Then, in 2012, the character recovered from this failure when director Pete Travis and screenwriter Alex Garland teamed up for Dredd, an R-rated feast of ultraviolence starring Karl Urban as a much more faithful on-screen incarnation of the role.

Dredd 2 Update: Karl Urban Is Sure Another Judge Dredd Movie Will Get Made Someday
Karl Urban at an event for Star Trek Beyond (2016)
Star of The Boys, Karl Urban, has commented once again on whether or not he will ever return as Judge Dredd in a sequel to his 2012 comic book movie Dredd. Since the debut of the movie all those years ago, fans have been clamoring to get Urban back under the helmet, a permanent grimace on his face, with the actor again reiterating his desire to step back into the role should the opportunity arise for Dredd 2.

"Listen, I would love to make it, I'm on the record saying that a bunch of times. I don't know if that's gonna happen. I think that the guys that own the rights to Dredd, Rebellion, I think they're developing something called 'Mega-City One' and it would just be great to see more Dredd, whether it's with me or not, it doesn't matter. I'm a fan of Dredd and there's so many great stories there.

Karl Urban Says He Has No Doubt Someone Will Make Another Dredd
Karl Urban at an event for Star Trek Beyond (2016)
You know what movie kicks ass? Dredd. No, not that Stallone film from the ‘90s (although it might be worth watching after a few beers), I’m talking about the Karl Urban version from 2012. Everything about it just worked. The action, visual style and simple plot. Even the trailer’s a real banger. And now that I remember, the 3D was really cool as well, particularly during the slo-mo scenes.

It became sort of an instant cult classic, too. Despite a modest $50 million budget though, Dredd earned just $41 million worldwide. Fans demanded a sequel, but it wasn’t financially viable and while nothing has come to fruition yet, that hasn’t stopped folks from continuing to campaign for a follow up.

Urban made an appearance at this past weekend’s C2E2 and was asked about the beloved character. Not only did he express love for the role, but said...
