Landman is the latest TV series from Taylor Sheridan, and as audiences have come to expect from his Paramount originals, the Western has an all-star cast. Taylor Sheridan is the television writer and mega-producer behind several TV shows, from Mayor of Kingstown to Tulsa King to his enormously popular Yellowstone franchise. While there are notable similarities between Landman and Yellowstone in their approach to the neo-Western genre, Taylor Sheridan has delivered something original in the new show.

Landman's early reviews seem promising, with the series opening to an 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It has continued Taylor Sheridan's trend of positively reviewed television, following 1923 in early 2023. Not to mention, Yellowstone season 5, part 2, is airing simultaneously on Paramount Network, though the two shows aren't connected. There are planned Yellowstone spinoffs set in the present day in development, but Landman is a standalone project.

Comedian Louis C.K. is set to debut his new half-hour comedy series Louie tonight on FX with two back-to-back shows, Episode 1.01: Pilot (which follows the comedians exploits as he goes on both a field trip with his daughter and a romantic date, both of which end up badly) and Episode 2.02: Poker/Divorce (which finds Louis engaged in a friendly game of poker as his divorce proceedings become finalized).

Louie is a comedy filtered through the observational humor of Louis C.K. Each episode puts a spotlight on Louis' hectic life as a successful stand-up comedian and newly single father raising his two daughters.
