Editor's note: This article contains spoilers for the NCIS: Origins Season 1 finale.
NCIS: Origins recently delivered a heart-wrenching Season 1 finale, and now the star of the show has pulled back the curtain on how these revelations will play out in Season 2. The NCIS: Origins Season 1 finale saw Lala Dominguez (Mariel Molino) crash her car on her way to deliver Gibbs (Austin Stowell) some positive news. While it’s not confirmed that Lala dies in the NCIS: Origins Season 1 finale, her car explodes in a fiery blaze that leads the audience to believe Gibbs will never see her again. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gibbs actor Austin Stowell spoke about how learning of the crash will affect Gibbs in Season 2, saying that it could go one of two ways for him:
"This will have major ramifications on him. No matter what happens, he just cannot seem to stop hurting people.

When Charles Durning appeared on NCIS in 2004, he was neither a stranger to acting nor without knowledge of the military. The WWII veteran was a long-time presence on big and small screens. Durning's role as Corporal Earnie Yost on NCIS stood apart from many of his other roles, however, because it earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
His appearance on NCIS wasn't Durning's first nomination in the category. He was previously nominated for playing Michael Gavin on Rescue Me and Thomas Finnegan on Homicide: Life on the Streets. Additional praise for Durning came with Oscar nominations for his roles in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982) and To Be or Not to Be (1983).
In the minds of many, Durning will always be remembered for NCIS and the emotional intensity he brought to the role of Yost. Personal and powerful alike, Durning demonstrated...

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch recently discussed The CW show, sharing their thoughts on the season finale. Titled "It Went By So Fast," the final episode aired on December 2, 2024, and depicted the iconic characters' respective deaths three decades after putting away their archnemesis Lex Luthor.
Hoechlin and Tulloch were on Megacon's Superman & Lois panel. In response to Cbr's question about their initial reaction to Superman & Lois Season 4's script, Tulloch responded, "I was surprised they went so full circle." Hoechlin added, "I thought it was very bold. When I read it, I felt different than when we started shooting it. I knew it would be good." In the season finale, Lois passes away after her cancer returns, with Clark joining her in the afterlife a few years later after dying of heart failure. The pair, however, enjoyed a full life together before their deaths.

On December 16, 2024, NCIS went on hiatus for six weeks following Season 22, Episode 9, "Humbug." The NCIS franchise returns with NCIS season 22 and the debut of NCIS: Origins in the fall of 2024, but the two shows' release schedules change slightly following their premieres. As its title suggests, NCIS: Origins serves as a prequel to the original military police procedural series, taking place in 1991, a little over a decade before the events of NCIS season 1. NCIS: Origins is the sixth installment and fifth official spinoff in the NCIS franchise, following in the footsteps of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai'i, and NCIS: Sydney. However, it's the first prequel.
While NCIS season 22's story revolves around the Naval Criminal Investigative Service in the present day, NCIS: Origins' plot follows Leroy Jethro Gibbs at the start of his career at the Naval Investigative Service (the precursor to NCIS). The two TV shows are quite different, but they both have qualities that should...

The 100 Season 7 is here!
Sadly, this will be the last outing for The 100. CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed during the network’s 2019 Summer TCA press tour appearance that The 100 season 7 will be the show’s final season, though it may live on in a prequel series.
As a midseason premiere, The 100 was one of the lucky shows to wrap up production before the Covid-19 hit, so we will be getting an entire season of the science fiction drama. Production on Season 7 started back up in August and wrapped in March, so the entire season is good to go, unlike some other CW productions that had to shut down production before the season finished.
Here’s our review of the latest episode, “Etherea.”
What’s next? “The Stranger.” Check out the promo below…
