Sophie Turner and Kit Harington are playing lovers now, and yes, it’s actually happening. Their upcoming gothic horror movie, titled The Dreadful, pairs the Game of Thrones siblings in a romantic storyline that’s making fans roll their eyes. Through the eight-season storyline of Thrones, Jon and Sansa never even hugged properly, but now they’d be involved in a proper love affair. On their “weird” situation, the actress added via Vogue:
I did a movie last year which I’m really excited about with my old, but very good friend, Kit Harington, who played my brother on ‘Game of Thrones.’ We’re doing a gothic horror, but we play lovers. Sorry guys, it’s really weird for all of us.
While this premise is shocking, maybe that’s what makes it work. And watching two actors with deeply ingrained sibling chemistry twist it into something romantic? That...

Jenny Han’s books have turned out to be phenomenal successes when it comes to their live-action adaptation. While the live-action adaptation of her To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before has turned out to be pretty famous on Netflix, The Summer I Turned Pretty series on Prime Video has achieved similar reception.
One of her most famous books, the teen show is a perfect watch for those who adore love-triangles set against the backdrop of nostalgic summer settings. With its last and third season about to release, fans will be saying goodbye to Belly Conklin and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher.
However, while the coming-of-age drama is one of a kind, fans have noticed that the Young Adult trilogy, be it the series or the original books, shares several similarities with other television shows. I'm not sure how David and Alex Pastor's "Carriers" holds up today — after nearly two decades that have given us various memorable zombie movies, like "Train to Busan" and "The Girl With All the Gifts" — but in 2009, the Chris Pine-led post-apocalyptic horror was an unlikely and underrated gem. The writer-director duo clearly wanted to jump on the metaphorical zombie hype train after Danny Boyle's iconic "28 Days Later" and Paul W.S. Anderson's "Resident Evil" made a fortune at the box office a few years earlier. "Carriers" aimed to ride that same wave before its production company, Paramount Vantage, delayed its release for three years before actually sending it to cinemas.
Though the shooting of the movie in New Mexico and Texas wrapped in 2006, the studio was hesitant to release it, likely because it hadn't featured one standout star. At the time, Chris Pine wasn't as widely...

Chris Pine will always be known for his roles in the Star Trek and Wonder Woman franchises, but 16 years ago, he starred in a sci-fi horror thriller that’s infecting a new streamer’s top 10. Pine stars alongside Emily VanCamp (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Svu) in Carriers, the 2009 film following four friends who seek haven after a lethal virus spreads globally, leaving dangerous infected and humans all over the world. Carriers is currently streaming on Paramount+, and it’s one of the most popular movies on the platform in America, sitting at #9 at the time of writing. The film earned a 62% score from critics and a 39% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes after grossing only $5 million at the box office.

The upcoming year is a big one for Marvel Studios. Not only is the studio building towards the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Multiverse Saga, it's doing so in larger-than-life fashion with some heavyweight titles coming our way.
That's right: 2026 will see the releases of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday on the big screen, while Disney Plus will offer up Daredevil: Born Again season 2, The Punisher Special Presentation, and Vision Quest (along with second seasons of animated outings X-Men '97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man). Yep, a very, very big year indeed.
One of those titles will also feature a comeback few of us were expecting and yet all of us were longing for, as it could very well mark the beginning of us all getting an explanation behind one of the franchise's most puzzling post-credits scenes.

There are few stranger types of movies than a Marvel Cinematic Universe film sequel. Most MCU sequels feel less like their own movie and more like an episode of a TV show that's decided to focus on a specific character for the week. You know how a typical episode of "Lost" would spotlight one cast member while the larger plot continued to progress around them? By the time we got to the mid-2010s, that's how most non-"Avengers" MCU movies felt.
The "Captain America" movies are perhaps the biggest example of this. "The First Avenger" ended with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) waking up 70 years after World War II; a typical second movie in the series would've followed up on the cliffhanger, making Steve's struggles to adapt to the modern world a major focus. But because "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" happens after "The Avengers," Steve has already gone through...

Post-credit scenes in the MCU have now become a staple. You may think the film is over, but then boom, a surprise pops up! For over a decade, Marvel has mastered the art of leaving us hanging, hoping for more, and screaming “Wait, What?!” From Thor: Love and Thunder to Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, some of these cliffhangers are still floating around like Loki in the multiverse.
Well, we’ve waited a long time for answers to these scenes. And now, Kevin Feige, we’re looking at you. It’s been years, and fans are still refreshing Google like Scott Lang stuck in the Quantum Realm. So, let’s break down 5 of these unresolved post-credit scenes that dropped jaws, broke brains, and still need a serious Marvel-style explanation.

Exclusive: Prejudice, the Emily VanCamp-starring series about a former sex worker who becomes a litigator, has found a home at Canada’s Bell Media and Fox Entertainment Global.
Deadline can reveal that Bell, Feg and Canada’s Neshama Entertainment are in late-stage development on the series from Celeste Parr, which we broke almost a year ago to the day.
Prejudice follows rising litigator Liesl Wellington (VanCamp) as her life and career are thrown into upheaval when her past as a sex worker is publicly exposed.
We are told Bell and Feg are in development on a second script for the project but the series has not yet been greenlit. If ordered, it would be the first from Bell’s content licensing and distribution agreement with Feg. That deal is seeing shows forged for Fox in the U.S. and Bell platforms CTV and streamer Crave, while Feg handles international sales.

Emily VanCamp is pretty in white while attending the Northern Lights event held on Thursday night (March 27) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old actress made a rare public outing at the event, which was hosted by Bell Media president Sean Cohan to celebrate the creative achievements and growing global influence of Canadian storytellers across film, television, and digital media.
Also in attendance were Nathan Fillion, Giacomo Gianniotti, Drew and Jonathan Scott, with fiancée Zooey Deschanel, Lilly Singh, Mena Massoud and fiancée Emily Shah, and Humble the Poet.
Last year, Emily welcomed her second child with husband Josh Bowman and has kept a low profile since, aside from lending her voice to Marvel’s What If…? series.
If you missed it, it was recently announced that Nathan will be one of 25 guest stars on the upcoming final season of Big Mouth on Netflix. He’s also set to star in the forthcoming Superman movie!

Medical shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "ER" made a habit of switching up their cast members throughout the years, which makes sense when you consider the setting: In real life, residents, fellows, and attendings migrate throughout hospital systems depending on what jobs are available and what specialties they intend to practice. That said, medical dramas aren't always that realistic, so when on-screen doctors leave hospitals, it's usually due to a much more dramatic reason, like their ex-fiancé offered them a job running a groundbreaking cardiac surgery wing in Switzerland (Sandra Oh's Cristina Yang from "Grey's Anatomy") or helping a mother give medication to her terminally ill son and violating medical standards in the process (George Clooney's character Dr. Doug Ross from "ER"), just to provide a few examples. So what about Dr. Mina Okafor, the surgical resident at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital on Fox's medical drama "The Resident,...

Captain America: Brave New World is now showing in theaters and MCU fans are skeptically going to watch Anthony Mackie finally take on the mantle of Cap in his first standalone movie. Despite all the hype built up by Marvel Studios over the past few months, including pushing Harrison Ford's Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, a.k.a. Red Hulk, to the front of the film's marketing strategy, Brave New World's hype was dead on sight after the first reviews released online -- with the film currently holding a 53% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
But, like Captain America himself standing up to the entirety of Thanos' army in Avengers: Endgame, Brave New World isn't going down without a fight, as the film's opening weekend predictions might save it from divisive reviews. According to Deadline, Captain America: Brave New World is heading for a solid $12 million opening night at the box office.

Captain America: Brave New World is just days away from hitting theaters, finally giving Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) his first standalone movie, and the first reactions to the McU's latest outing have now hit the internet. Brave New World sees Wilson accept the mantle of Captain America (if you hadn't guessed from the title), facing down the Serpent Society, led by Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito), as well as Tim Blake Nelson's The Leader, who returns from 2008's The Incredible Hulk, and Harrison Ford's Red Hulk. The new film is one of the most hyped movies of the year, alongside the McU's other 2025 outings; Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four: First Steps, as well as DC Studios' Superman. But, does it live up to this hype?

Right now, Scott Wolf is on our screens as a doctor on the new Fox drama Doc — and he’s hiding quite the secret — but it’s far from the first drama he played a medical professional. Eleven years ago, he starred as Dr. Jake Hartman on Everwood, which ran four seasons (ending in 2006). When TV Insider recently spoke with Wolf, we had to ask him about his time on that teen drama. “Everwood was a really wonderful experience. Moved my wife and I to Utah, where we still live. Was my first doctor role,” he recalled. “I’ve now played four. Some amazing people on that show. Treat Williams, rest his soul, Chris Pratt, Greg Smith, Emily VanCamp, just like a beautiful cast of actors.” He recalled it begin the first regular role he did after Party of Five (1994-2000); he had guest spots on Spin City and TV movies in between.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced audiences to many great characters. From Agatha Harkness to Iron Man, the Marvel characters all have so much personality and heart. While a lot of characters have amazing and diverse personalities, one duo rises above the others in terms of both nobility and heart. The Captain America films did an amazing job at not only creating an intriguing story and further integrating audiences into the MCU world but also in building up great character relationships.
Even after Steve Rogers retired his shield, the Captain America mantle did not die out. Sam Wilson came in and continued the legacy while also creating one of his own. Because the mantle of Captain America gets to continue, this means more Captain America media is to come. Fans of the character(s) know that the media that already exists within the MCU is great, and there is only more excitement for the future.

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie first shared the screen as Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They were later forced to be unwilling allies in Captain America: Civil War and then took centre stage as teammates in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+.
During last night's Golden Globes, Stan took home an award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his stellar performance in A Different Man.
However, it didn't long for Mackie, the McU's new Captain America, to crash the party. "We won," he joked, with Stan adding, "Captain America and the Winter Soldier, we're coming back!"
Mackie showed up during a separate interview, presenting his former co-star with a rose. When the interviewer asked Stan what it meant to get that sort of support from his fellow actor, he got serious for a moment and replied, "Listen, we...

Marvel Studios' What If...? season 3 just reminded audiences of a controversial Phase 4 villain twist involving Sharon Carter. Emily VanCamp first appeared in the MCU as Sharon Carter, the niece of Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, back in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After Civil War introduced an awkward romantic connection between Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers, whose long-lost love was Sharon's aunt, the former Shield agent mysteriously disappeared from the MCU, but returned with a twist in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revealed that, after becoming a fugitive by aiding Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson in Civil War, Sharon Carter relocated to Madripoor and became an art and antiquities dealer. More than that, however, Sharon Carter was also outed as the villainous and power-hungry Power Broker, a surprising twist that many found disappointing and confusing. Emily VanCamp hasn't yet been confirmed to...

This article contains Major Spoilers for What If...? Season 3After three seasons, Marvel's What If...? has finally concluded. The first animated foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe explored the concept of the multiverse — a concept that has become so important for The Multiverse Saga entries like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Deadpool & Wolverine. Despite What If...? containing seemingly endless storytelling possibilities baked into its narrative, with a series that could go on for years with new alternate stories, the series has concluded after only 26 episodes.
It became clear that What If...? was more than just an adaptation of the popular Marvel Comic series of the same name that explored crazy concepts from Marvel storylines. It was also seemingly a story about The Watcher learning to move beyond his oath only to observe and become involved in preserving the multiverse. It also became...

What If...? season 3's fifth episode opens on a world with an army of drones called the Iron Federation marching through the streets. We find Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart, heading to a motel as The Watcher explains that she fails her mission in every version of this reality.
Meeting with Sharon Carter, Riri acquires an analogue part from an Easy Bake oven that's an essential part of whatever she's building. The Power Broker betrays her, though, and the Iron Federation closes in - many of them are revealed to be holograms - as Ironheart makes her escape in a makeshift suit.
However, it's then that White Vision attacks and, just as things look bleak for the hero, she's rescued by Wong, Okoye, Valkyrie, and Ying Nan. This is no normal Earth; it's the remnants of our planet in a reality where the Emergence happened years before the Eternals stopped it.

What If...? returns with its third and final season this weekend and Marvel Animation has today shared the episode descriptions and credits for every episode.
There are some significant reveals here, though the biggest is Mysterio's role in "What If...The Emergence destroyed the Earth?" With the planet no more, it appears Quentin Beck finds a way to take charge of what's left; could a Spider-Man: Far From Home retcon be in the works establishing him as a Multiversal threat?
We wouldn't bank on it but in this reality, he must have survived the events of that movie and become more than just a con man out to steal Tony Stark's technology.
Beyond that, most of these episodes sound like fun, throwaway adventures and a couple really stretch the "What If...?" premise. However, the final two episodes sound pretty monumental and could have a major impact on the...

While it’s true that the One Chicago universe has had its fair share of memorable guest stars, I can’t say that I’ve been as excited about any of them as I am now.

Marvel Studios has shared a cast list for the upcoming third and final season of What If...?, and Jeffrey Wright's Watcher looks set to be joined by another A-List lineup of Marvel Cinematic Universe talent.
We heard some time ago that season 3 would add some key Phase 4 characters to the mix, and that's evident from the presence of Kingo, Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop, and Moon Knight.
There aren't many surprises beyond that, though we are intrigued to see what the likes of Sonny Burch and Arishem the Judge bring to the table.
What If...? will also deliver some big MCU debuts, with Barbie star America Ferrera and Harry Potter icon Jason Isaacs among the guest stars set to appear in the 8-episode series.

Nicolette "Nic" Nevin (Emily VanCamp) suffers a tragic death in The Resident, which left the rest of the staff at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital reeling. The Resident is a medical drama that often flits between real down-to-earth medical dramatics, and hospital horror that makes for a disconcerting yet poignant, tone. It's this tone that allowed the show to stand out within the packed genre for six seasons before it was canceled in April 2023. The staff and doctors at the fictional Chastain Park Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia are some of the best reasons to watch The Resident.
One of the main characters of The Resident is Nicolette Nevin, a talented nurse practitioner at Chastain who is one of the few people willing to push back against Dr. Conrad Theodore Hawkins' (Matt Czuchry) unconventional medical practices. This contentiousness between the two medical professionals quickly blooms into a romantic relationship that results...

Though The Resident includes a wide ensemble of doctors at the fictional Chastain Park Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) is seen as the main character and the titular resident. Dr. Hawkins is an intense and arrogant chief resident who is known for being tough on those working under him and demanding the best. He also fights back against the bureaucracy of the healthcare industry, hoping to make a real difference as a doctor.
Despite his intense aspects, Hawkins endeared himself to audiences due to his skill as a doctor and his relationship with nurse practitioner Nicolette 'Nic' Nevin (Emily VanCamp). The Resident season 7 will not be happening following the show's cancelation, leaving a lot of unanswered questions about Dr. Hawkins' future. However, there are also small aspects of the character that fans might not be aware of and make for a fun way of revisiting The Resident's Conrad Hawkins.

Part of what many fans love about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is how Marvel Studios hints at the next big event or reveals surprise character introductions with each movie. It evokes one of the most iconic things about Marvel Comics, with big font stingers exhorting True Believers to stay tuned. Even if the onslaught of MCU media has worn deep tracks in the greater film/TV audience over the last decade, there's still a thrill to a well-executed stinger or credit cookie.
However, for every promise that the Avengers will return or a tease of Thanos' threatening rise to power, there's a chance that we might not see a cool hint pay off down the road. There are several things that have been teased in the MCU, especially in credits scenes that have yet to yield any significant results. While that can be disappointing, especially for fans of newly introduced characters or plot threads,...
