Richard Van Den Bergh

Richard's 31 years experience working in diverse media of Film emphasizes his versatility in all areas of production. His role has embraced all technical aspects of Special Effects, Atmospheric, mechanical rigs, pyrotechnics, model making and brakeaway props. A key area while working at Jim Hensons Creature Shop was to develop his range to include prosthetics, soft mechanics and animatronics running large teams with very big creatures. Richard is an industry leader and has gained the know-how and confidence to realise any creative idea conceived from concept stage through each facet of production. He can draw upon a network of skilled technicians to suit all types of Special Effects creations.
