      Sentenced to 6 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to charges of sexual abuse of a child. According to the Associated Press, Judge Robert Griffin recommended to the parole board that Van Wagenen be kept in prison longer than the minimum sentence. On April 30, 2019 in American Fork, Utah, Van Wagenen, 71, pleaded guilty to the charges: The illegal touching of a young girl, that occurred between 2013 and 2015.
