Slasher: Season Three; Netflix Series Renewed and in Production
Netflix is cutting Slasher anytime soon. The streaming service just announced they've renewed the TV show for a third season.

The second season of the anthology horror series centers on a shuttered summer camp, which has been taken over by an “intentional community.” Now someone — or something — hellbent on revenge, is targeting the members of this secretive group. The cast includes Leslie Hope, Paula Brancati, Jim Watson, Christopher Jacot, Joanne Vannicola, Jefferson Brown, and Dean McDermott.

CBC Moves 'Being Erica' to Wednesday Nights
Starting with its fifth episode, Being Erica will now be aired on Wednesday nights according to an announcement made by the Canadian TV network CBC.

Up until the broadcasting of the third season's fourth episode, the Canadian TV series Being Erica had always been aired on Tuesday at 9 Pm.

Next week, the new episodes of the third season will be aired on Wednesday at 9 Pm just after the hit reality show Dragons' Den (8 Pm). The latter is one of the 30 most watched shows in Canada and will be used as a lead-in to Being Erica.

Speaking about competition on the same day at the same hour from Canadian and American TV networks, Being Erica will face these TV series: Criminal Minds (CBS), Hell's Kitchen (Fox), Mauvais karma (Radio-Canada), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC) and Modern Family along with Cougartown, two half-hour comedies from ABC.

Remembering Brittany Murphy
We were shocked and saddened when news broke that Brittany Murphy died of sudden cardiac arrest in her home yesterday morning at the age of 32. Soon after the story was confirmed, people all over the Internet began expressing their grief and fond memories of Murphy with quotes from her cult classic, Clueless: "That was way harsh, Tai."

Murphy's big screen break came in 1995 when she starred opposite Alicia Silverstone in the modern adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma. Clueless took Emma from country balls in the English countryside to city malls in Beverly Hills. Critics were skeptical about the movie's premise, but it won legions of fans, thanks in large part to Murphy's portrayal of Tai, an affable, naive west coast transplant whose one-liners obviously continue to be remembered by an entire generation.
