He was a writer and composer, known for French Kiss (1995), The City of Lost Children (1995) and Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989). He was married to Marguerite Villard and Marie Vinciguerra. He died on 26 May 1968 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
