The Iron Claw: What Happened To Jack Von Erich Jr. In Real Life
Image
Jack Jr.'s death in 1959 marked the first tragic event in the Von Erich family. The young boy's death plays a significant role in The Iron Claw. The Iron Claw maintains the reality of the Von Erich family's hardships and deaths despite some creative liberties.

The Iron Claw tells the true story of the Von Erich family a family of wrestlers who endured numerous hardships over decades as many tried to prove themselves in the wrestling world, starting with the misfortunate incident involving Fritz Von Erich and Doris Adkisson's first son, Jack Jr. The 2023 biographical sports drama, directed and written by Sean Durkin, takes some creative liberties when depicting the family's story on the big screen. Consequently, not everything that transpires in the movie actually happened in real life, or The Iron Claw changes the details of the true story, resulting in a few inaccuracies.

The Iron Claw is available to stream on Max.

The movie downplays certain relationships and events, such as Kerry's marriage and divorce, as well as the timing of Doris and Fritz's separation.

Jeremy Allen White to star in adaptation of corrupt cop doc The Seven Five?
Image
From the kitchen to corruption, The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White is now being eyed for The Seven Five, a movie based on the 2014 documentary of the same name to be directed by Ben Stiller.

While the role that White is apparently circling for The Seven Five has yet to be revealed, it was reported back in 2020 that the likes of Nicholas Hoult and Aaron Taylor-Johnson were linked to play Michael Dowd, who was considered the “ringleader” of a net of corruption that ran through the New York City police department in the 1980s. One could assume that neither of these casting decisions worked out or that White could be in talks for the role of Patrick Eugene McKenna, another key player in the NYPD.

Regardless of Jeremy Allen White’s role at this time, this isn’t the first attempt to get the documentary turned into a narrative. An...
