When Calls the Heart is the Hallmark Channel’s longest-running series. When dramas last that long, they run into issues balancing characters and storylines as the cast grows.

While When Calls the Heart Season 12 improved significantly over the last season, it still has several issues to work out.

While many episodes were still community-focused, several characters were only pop-up characters and didn’t receive much of their own storyline.

The series also added several new characters new characters as well to their already massive cast.

When Calls the Heart has a problem. It has a massive cast, and the storylines are not relatively divided among the characters.

The beginning of When Calls the Heart Season 12 seemed more community-focused.

Lucas and Lee teamed up on the National Park project, while Henry and Joseph started a hazelnut business with the Hope Valley children.

The series utilized its supporting cast well by letting Florence and Ned participate in the comics’ debate and find the gold coin.

We learned more about Molly’s history, and she and Jed began dating.

Tonight’s installment of When Calls the Heart exceeded my expectations and was on par with the early episodes of Season 12.

Many characters were used well on When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 10.

While there was room for improvement, many arcs neared completion, and new ones began.

Among other things, McGinty showed his true colors by suing Lucas and threatening Allie with a trespassing fine, and one of the highlights was seeing the men of Hope Valley band together.

Georgie McGill (Melissa Gilbert) also returned for more answers about the gold. She and Rosemary started off on the wrong foot but grew to respect one another.

What’s not to like about Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2?

We had Ellimax two-stepping, Ally Sheedy, and Martin Sheen. Yee-haw on all fronts, including the Ellimax angst that the series delivers.

The case is an opportunity to see another side to Cole, who has an endless bag of talents. It’s not something exclusive to Max, which is part of what makes their partnership intriguing.

Cole can ride a horse like a cover model in a romance novel, and I love it. It was endearing as Max was out of her element on the ranch, and she seemed to be afraid of horses.

Romance, mystery, and intrigue continue on the next When Calls the Heart.

When Nathan went undercover last time, many fans were disappointed Elizabeth barely interacted with him. She’ll get her chance in When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 7.

The spoilers indicate that while Nathan and Elizabeth are out on a date, they must quickly go undercover at a glamorous and lavish party. The stakes are high since they run into Toddy Davis and his wife, but the operation will likely be entertaining.

We can’t wait to see what kind of dancing and party there will be, as the roaring 20s have been a blast so far.

This will likely be the main story, although other spoilers indicate that Lucas and Edie grow closer while playing cards. We may also see more romance between Bill and Georgie since Melissa Gilbert is scheduled to reappear.

Watching fall begin as we approach Valentine’s Day seemed odd, especially since this When Calls the Heart installment was very romance-focused.

Nathan had requested forensic investigator Georgie McGill’s (Melissa Gilbert) assistance with the train robbery on When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 6, not realizing she and Bill were old friends.

Jack Wagner and Melissa Gilbert sizzled, and hopefully, this is the beginning of a fun romance for Bill and Georgie.

Allie needed assistance healing her broken heart, and Oliver helped immensely as they researched the problem in the ecosystem. The two realized they had more in common than they realized and may have felt a tiny spark.

When Heldman asked Chris McNally about his scene in the episode entitled “Dancing Teens” where he was wrangling a calf with his love interest Edie Martel, McNally gave a surprising response. The Tipline Mysteries star reported, “My pants exploded and tore apart.”

Growing up is challenging, especially for teenage girls. This aspect has not changed in 100 years, and it was likely more difficult back then.

When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 4 was one of the best installments. It highlighted Allie’s coming-of-age and why it was so important to her.

I’ve commented previously that this season has returned us to the best part of the series, focusing on integrating the children into core storylines and keeping romances at the forefront.

“Dancing Teens” did that beautifully because viewers have watched Allie grow up since When Calls the Heart Season 6, and they rooted for her 17th birthday party to be a success.

Wcth ‘Dancing Teens Previews Puts Lee On...

Some mysteries and secrets keep the romance alive, but other times, it can drive your partner insane.

That type of secret was the case in When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 3, as Rosemary grew more worried about what Lee was hiding. Rosemary seemed annoying while she snooped, but it was difficult not to have some compassion for her.

Oliver had his secret, which affected his ability to become a Mountie. He was fortunate that Elizabeth never gave up on anyone and believed in children’s future.

Hallmark+ is premiering the fourth Cherry Lane movie, Deck The Halls On Cherry Lane. This time, they are back to 7 Cherry Lane in 1966, 1981, and 2000. The 1955 couple is Benjamin Hollingsworth and Chelsea Hobbs, as well as Matt Dusk. Next, in 1981, the couple is Erin Cahill and John Brotherton, who were in the first movie. Lastly, in 2000, it is Brooke D’Orsay and Sam Page.

The Flash is one of the biggest superheroes in DC Comics history, but he has also been one of the biggest superheroes of the past decade. Make no mistake about it, that is down to the success of the TV series, which ran for an incredible nine seasons on The CW. Sure, not all nine of those seasons were among its greatest hits, but its historic run helped make the Scarlet Speedster a household name, with fans instantly falling in love Grant Gustin's performance as the character and sticking with him for the better part of a decade.

But that's not the only mainstream appearance for the character, as Barry Allen's chaotic speedster was also a fixture of the DC Extended Universe movie franchise. This time, he was played by Ezra Miller, who appeared in films such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and his own solo movie.

Hallmark+ has announced the first of three Cherry Lane sequels, Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane. Starring Jonathan Bennett, Corey Cott, Annabelle Bourke, Sarah Dugdale, Shannon Kook and Vincent Rodriguez III, the movie takes fans back in time to 1951, 2003, and 2024.
