There’s a great deal of jism on display in Amit Saxena’s directorial debut. In the first half, there is little else. From the moment Bipasha Basu walks out of the sea wearing a trendy bead necklace and a body-hugging apology for a dress, she seems to have not just protagonist Kabir Lal (John Abraham), but also director Saxena and cinematographer Fuwad Khan following her voluptuous body with single-minded focus.

Bipasha is Sonia, the lonely wife of travelling millionaire Rohit Khanna (Gulshan Grover). Kabir is a maverick lawyer who seems to have very little purpose in life as he guzzles rum by the gallons and laments whatever it is that ails his sorry existence. When he spots Sonia yet again in a very backless black dress standing all by herself in the town’s hot spot, he falls straight for her sizzling jism.

Sonu Walia files sexual harassment case after receiving lewd calls from an unknown person
Yesteryear actress and former Miss India Sonu Walia, who is best known for her role in Rekha and Kabir Bedi starrer Khoon Bhari Maang (1988), has reportedly filed a sexual harassment complaint at Bangur Nagar police station after receiving lewd calls and obscene messages from an unknown person. According to Mumbai Mirror, the 53-year-old actress approached the police on Friday (March 3) and said in her Fir that the person had made several lewd phone calls to her and sent obscene videos for the past one week. She also told the police that she had warned the unidentified caller for his obscene calls which further led to increase in the frequency of his calls which he made from different numbers. The numbers are no longer operational said the police. The accused has been booked under sections 354 of Ipc and other sections of the It act at the Bangur Nagar police station.

Not many of us may recollect the name Sonu Walia, the Miss Indian beauty pageant winner and model turned actress who even won the Best Supporting Actress Award back in 1988 for her performance in the film Khoon Bhari Maang, was last seen in Hema Malini's directorial debut, Dil Aashna Hai. Well Sonu, who was hardly seen on the big screen post this film, did manage to feature in a number of TV serials only to vanish from them as well. Now we hear that Sonu is all set to make a comeback to Bollywood but this time in the role of a producer. In fact we hear that Sonu Walia will soon be co-producing a film with her brother in law Vineet Sharma. The film titled Jogiyaa Rocks, a film that traces the success story of an Indian rock star. Interestingly, Jogiyaa Rocks has been written by Vineet with inputs from Sonu herself.

Festival of Globe – Silicon Valley (Fogsv) & San Francisco Movie Fest has witnessed yet another successful edition. Held from 7-16 August 2015, the festival received a footfall of over 1,00,000 visitors from the Bay Area and surrounds. Indian Film personalities Richa Chadda, Deepti Naval, Pooja Batra, Bappi Lahiri, Gulshan Grover, Guneet Monga, Rajat Kapoor and many more were felicitated for their contribution to Indian Cinema.

The celebrations included eight days of movie screenings, workshops, panel discussions, the prestigious Fog Awards and the India Day Parade. Three controversial Indian films -19th January, Unfreedom and Oass were screened and admired for their bold storyline.

Commenting on the success of the Festival, Rajesh Verma, President Fia said, “This is our way of passing on the torch of our pride in our traditions to the future generations of American Indian youth.”
