Why T.R. Knight's George O'Malley Left Grey's Anatomy
Image
People leave long-running TV shows all the time — and because "Grey's Anatomy" has been airing since 2005, that sentiment is particularly true when it comes to the long-running medical drama created by Shonda Rhimes. Sara Ramirez hung up their stethoscope as Dr. Callie Torres to pursue new opportunities, Sandra Oh's Dr. Cristina Yang moved to Switzerland for a brand new career, Patrick Dempsey wanted to spend more time racing cars and stopped playing Dr. Derek Shepherd as a result, and Katherine Heigl reportedly clashed with Rhimes behind the scenes after playing Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens for six seasons of the series. Hell, even the titular Dr. Grey — Meredith, played by Ellen Pompeo — technically left the series in season 19, though Pompeo is still an executive producer and provides the show's voiceover. So, what about Dr. George O'Malley (played by T.R. Knight), one of the show's five original surgical interns?

I'll explain how and why shortly,...

Why Sandra Oh's Cristina Yang Left Grey's Anatomy
Image
People come and go on "Grey's Anatomy" all the time. The long-running medical drama created by Shonda Rhimes was introduced as a mid-season replacement back in 2005 and has seen a lot of main cast members join and leave the show over the years; even its titular "Grey," Ellen Pompeo's Meredith, "left" the series in November 2022. But what about Meredith's "person" Dr. Cristina Yang, the cardiothoracic superstar played by Sandra Oh for the show's first 10 seasons?

Cristina is one of the show's five original surgical interns — alongside Meredith, Dr. George O'Malley (T.R. Knight), Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), and Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens (Katherine Heigl), all of whom also leave the show and its fictional Seattle-based hospital behind at some point — and pretty early in the series, it's established that she and Meredith are best friends. Despite her relationships with other doctors on "Grey's Anatomy," like cardiothoracic attending Dr.

This Forgotten Horror-Western from the ‘You’re Next’ Writer is Quietly Haunting Prime Video
Image
The juxtaposition of the horror and Western genres is an unusual one, for sure. But there’s something rather enjoyable about seeing the two seemingly opposed genres skillfully fused. Organ Trail and Bone Tomahawk are just a couple of examples of the kind of magic that stems from the effective use of this unholy union. We recently noticed that a forgotten horror Western is streaming on Prime Video and that’s the kind of good news we cannot keep to ourselves. The film we’re referencing is Alex Turner’s Dead Birds.

Dead Birds didn’t make a huge splash upon release and still remains somewhat under-seen more than 20 years later. The film does, however, have a small cult following and even managed to win over a few critics. Perhaps some of the appeal comes from the creatives involved. You’re Next scribe Simon Barrett penned the script for this genre mashup.

Ellen Pompeo Says She Won’t Walk Away From Grey’s Anatomy
Ellen Pompeo
Ellen Pompeo says she has no intention of cutting ties with Grey’s Anatomy, even after stepping back from a full-time role in the series. In a recent interview with El País, the actor explained that she continues to stay involved both for personal reasons and because of the scale of the show’s ongoing success.

“That would make no sense, emotionally or financially,” Pompeo said. “The show was streamed more than a billion times in 2024. More than a billion times.” She pointed to the continued profits generated from her work on the series, saying, “The companies that own the show and stream the show make a lot of money from our images and our voices and our faces.”

Pompeo, who has played Dr. Meredith Grey since the show’s premiere in 2005, said she sees no logic in removing herself entirely. “If I were to walk away completely, everybody gets...

Ellen Pompeo Says It Would ‘Make No Sense Emotionally or Financially’ to Leave ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ for Good
Image
Ellen Pompeo has a very simple explanation for why she continues to appear as Meredith Grey in ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Speaking with El País, Pompeo explained why she has not left the long-running ABC medical drama, telling the outlet, “That would make no sense, emotionally or financially.” The actress and producer went on to note that she has no interest in letting ABC and the producers behind “Grey’s Anatomy” continue to profit off her “hard work” without taking part in the show’s ongoing success herself.

“The show was streamed more than a billion times in 2024. More than a billion times,” Pompeo noted. “The companies that own the show and stream the show make a lot of money from our images and our voices and our faces.”

“If I were to walk away completely, everybody gets to make money from my hard work for 20 years and I wouldn’t make any money.

Grey’s Anatomy Veteran Blamed Katherine Heigl For Getting Unceremoniously Fired in 2007: “Not allowed to speak publicly”
Image
The medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has been running for two decades now and has brought several heartbreaking and warming stories to the screen. While the long-running drama has a cast that has become family at this point, it also has several dark moments where cast and crew members were called out for their problematic behaviours.

One of the cast members who got fired over his statements to a co-star was Isaiah Washington. The actor was written off the show after he was accused of using a homophobic slur to describe a co-star, T.R. Knight. Washington later accused star Katherine Heigl of stating that he should never speak in public again and partly blamed her for his termination.

Shonda Rhimes Reveals the Off-Screen Moment She Thought Would 'Kill' ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy'
Image
Shonda Rhimes is looking back at her wildly successful series Grey’s Anatomy, which is now on season 21 on ABC.

However, there is a moment that she thought would “kill” the entire show, and it happened way back in 2007.

Keep reading to find out more…

THR asked if she had a “rose” and “thorn” for her time with the medical drama, and she elaborated on the thorn moment.

“I think the thorn was having the bubble of joy burst so early on Grey’s [with the Isaiah Washington incident] and not having anybody interested in helping us deal with it, because that really shaped a lot of how we looked at the world going forward — and a lot of how [creative partner Betsy Beers] and I processed working with other people going forward. I mean, that was the thing we thought was going to kill the show. And it’s funny, every Grey’s actor...

Derek's Devastating Death in 'Grey's Anatomy', Explained
Image
Grey's Anatomy has been going for almost two decades. The 21 seasons and nearly 450 episodes have introduced viewers to plenty of characters, but few have been as popular with fans as Dr. Derek Shepherd, who's been affectionately referred to as "McDreamy." Derek is a neurosurgeon who works at the same hospital as the main character, Meredith Grey, and even had a relationship and kids with her. Patrick Dempsey won over audiences' hearts as Derek Shepherd, and even received the honor of People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2023 after showing so much charisma in Grey's Anatomy.

The show controversially killed Derek Shepherd in episode 21 of season 11, titled "How to Save a Life." The episode is one of the lowest-rated episodes on IMDb, with a user rating of 5.6/10 with more than 3,000 reviews, mostly annoyed with how Derek was killed in the episode. However, McDreamy's death was a necessity, especially with situations in the background of the show's production.

Fan-Favorite Grey’s Anatomy Star Discusses Possible Return 7 Years Later
Image
Grey's Anatomy has seen many characters come and go during the course of its run, and among those who haven't been seen in a while is Martin Henderson's Dr. Nathan Riggs. Over seven years later, the actor has confirmed that he's open to the idea of returning as his fan-favorite character.

While speaking with Deadline to promote his series Virgin River, Henderson was asked about the possibility of returning to Grey's Anatomy. He teased that a return is possible, feeling that Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes would be supportive of a return of Dr. Riggs. It all comes down to scheduling, as Henderson is keeping pretty busy with his post-Grey's work.

The Best Greys Anatomy Scenes of All Time
Image
With close to two decades of content, Grey's Anatomy has been both phenomenal and disappointing. For the past 20 years, ABC's highly popular medical drama has had turnover in the writer's room, drama behind the scenes, and devastating deaths. But when Grey's Anatomy was good, it was beyond reproach.

Premiering in the mid-'00s, the series portrayed complex female characters, which were rare at the time. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) stood apart from many other protagonists on network television because she was dark and twisty and accepted this about herself. The rare commodity of an imperfect female character still holds up years after. Since the premiere episode, Grey's Anatomy gripped audiences with its heartfelt storylines and dramatic romances held in the halls of Seattle Grace. Counting the best moments of the series is no easy feat with the number of years it has been on the air, but each one is...

Quick Links George's Death In Grey's Anatomy Was Unexpected George's Death Signaled an End of an Era For Grey's Anatomy George Didn't Get the Respect He Deserved George's Death Is Even Sadder In Retrospect

Medical dramas tend to have a longer shelf life than a typical serialized television series, but Grey's Anatomy leaves them all in the dust. Created by Shonda Rhimes in 2005, the series raised complex female characters to the forefront while telling heartwrenching stories and gripping romances set in a hospital setting. The series catapulted Rhimes into the cultural zeitgeist, making her the producing juggernaut she is today, thanks to Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and her fellow cohorts at Seattle Grace now Grey Sloan Memorial.

Classic storylines such as Meredith's love triangle with Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Addison (Kate Walsh) stick out, or even Burke's (Isaiah Washington) hand tremor. But there is one plot that fans...

'Mean and Unjust': Grey's Anatomy Star Comments on Unceremonious Firing

The long-running series Grey's Anatomy has had many casting shakeups over the years, and some actors have been cut loose from the series long before they were ready to say goodbye. Grey's Anatomy Stars Who Left the Show (& Where They Went)
Image
When a fan-favorite character leaves Grey's Anatomy, it feels like a stab to the heart. When it comes to medical dramas, Greys Anatomy is a household name and one of the few television series to elevate the genre. Fans have been watching Meredith Grey and the entire cast for the past 20 seasons, but it hasnt been without its fair share of losses. Several beloved characters left the long-running drama, some recently and some quite early.

Its safe to say that when a series runs as long as Greys Anatomy has, it tends to saturate the actors, and there comes a point when a character has reached the end of the line. Besides several major actors taking a bow for playing the character for too long, some Greys Anatomy stars had controversial exits that are still topics of discussion among fans.

God's Not Dead: In God We Trust (2024)
Praise the Lord, and Pass the A+ Cinemascore
God's Not Dead: In God We Trust (2024)
“God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust” (Fathom) and “Am I Racist?” (Sdg) won’t register with most mainstream moviegoers, but this weekend they could rank as high as #3 and #4 (in either order), behind “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (Warner Bros.) and the debuting “Speak No Evil” (Universal). Also in the mix are Lionsgate’s new “The Killer’s Game” and the 8th weekend of “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Of these, guess which two are top candidates for receiving the rare A+ Cinemascore.

There’s a history of lucrative performances for similar films that appeal to conservative faith-based or Maga-related audiences (which frequently overlap). The progressive side has its analogs, particularly in Michael Moore documentaries, but for the last decade or more nearly all the preach-to-the-choir breakthroughs come from the right wing of the ideological spectrum.

Most fall far short of the grosses for “The Passion of the Christ” (Picturehouse) or “Sound of Freedom” (Angel). With budgets modest to small,...

Where To Watch God's Not Dead: In God We Trust - Showtimes & Streaming Status
Image
The fifth film in the God's Not Dead franchise is here, and there are options for where to watch God's Not Dead: In God We Trust. The original faith-based movie series began in 2014 and was met with a rather impressive box office performance, as it earned over $60 million thanks to strong support from Christian viewers, even as critics negatively reviewed it. That propelled more Christian movies to be made that continue the story of Reverend Dave Hill, played by David A. R. White, a pastor now running for Congress in God's Not Dead: In God We Trust.

Although the box office performance of the God's Not Dead movies has declined with each entry, God's Not Dead: In God We Trust still has an exclusive theatrical release as a means to try and get enough support from audiences. The movie brings back several characters and actors from previous installments, including Cory Oliver,...

Why Moe Irvins Tyler Christian Left Greys Anatomy Without a Trace

In Grey's Anatomy, Tyler Christian was a beloved and pivotal nurse at Grey Sloan, guiding interns and offering patient support. Christian showcased the significance of nurses by stepping in during critical moments, emphasizing teamwork. Despite his initial importance, Tyler was phased out with no explanation, leaving fans disappointed and wanting closure.

Though Grey's Anatomy shines a spotlight on its major characters, many fans see the show's secondary characters as just as important. While icons like Miranda Bailey are carrying out life-saving surgery, the nurses of Grey Sloan are working to keep the hospital up and running to a good standard. So, although they may not get as much screen time as their counterparts, these secondary characters are useful resources for moving the plot forward.

Why Jeanine Masons Sam Bello Left Greys Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy: Why Preston Burke Left

Isaiah Washington's character, Dr. Preston Burke, controversially left Grey's Anatomy in Season 3. Washington's departure from the show was controversial, as he was terminated for using a homophobic slur on set. However, the actor still returned as a guest star in Season 10. ABC's popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy has gained a reputation for regularly shaking up its cast. Segueing his way from The Ben Stiller Show to Zoolander, and then Old School, the 58-year-old comedian forged his way from the underground comedy scene specializing in playing deranged, sexually confused, or off-kilter characters. Nothing was off limits, on stage or off, and he proved this again and again through his many arrests.

His short-lived self-titled MTV show offered the best arena for his talents, providing an unintentional peek into his head, where he gleefully parodied the industry, his own rampaging ego and quest for sobriety, and everything Y2K-related, especially mocking MTV staples. Among his targets are vacuous pop singers, Marilyn Manson, and Radiohead's Thom Yorke.

Image
Homicide: Life on the Street is on the verge of abdicating the title of the Best TV Show You Can’t Stream. The network series and follow-up film Homicide: The Movie will premiere Aug. 19 on Peacock.

On June 17, David Simon — whose nonfiction book, Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets, inspired the Emmy-winning NBC cop drama, and eventually launched Simon’s own acclaimed career in television with shows like The Wire and The Deuce — revealed that the biggest hurdle had been cleared to put the series on a streaming platform:...

10 TV Characters Who Kept Returning After Their Actors Left The Show
Image
Some actors exit popular shows but return as guest stars, wrapping up storylines and maintaining character significance. Networks welcome back old stars because it will boost ratings and delight fans. Showrunners make efforts to secure former stars for special episodes or finales to keep their characters in the story.

Some actors have officially exited popular shows, most likely giving up their regular status, only to return to the show as a guest star more than once in years to come. Many TV shows survive the main characters' exit, but that character likely still plays a major role in the story and is referenced often. In this case, the showrunners do whatever they can to occasionally secure a former star for an episode, possibly the series finale, to wrap everything up.

Maybe the actor just didn't want to continue being a regular but is more than happy to show up for a few episodes every season,...

Sorry, But I Fully Believe Derek Shepherd's Grey's Anatomy Death Saved The Show
Image
Killing off Derek Shepherd was a risky move that injected new life into Grey's Anatomy. Derek's death in season 11 set the stage for fresh storylines and character development. The decision to write out Dempsey's character was ultimately a smart creative choice for the show's future.

Grey's Anatomy is one of the longest-running shows on TV, but I'm starting to think it wouldn't have thrived as long without killing off Derek Shepherd. The series was starting to show its age before Patrick Dempsey's exit during Grey's Anatomy season 11. Due to that big departure, season 11, episode 21 was one of Grey's Anatomy's most important episodes. Before that development, I believed Derek and Meredith were untouchable because of their popularity.

The best way to force a show into a new direction is to eradicate a part of what made it so successful in the first place. Grey's Anatomy relied on...

Why Erica Hahn Left Grey's Anatomy
Image
Dr. Erica Hahn was a short-lived cardiologist on Grey's Anatomy with a strained relationship with her colleagues. Erica Hahn left the show abruptly after discovering unethical behavior from a colleague, refusing to overlook it. Hahn's departure allowed space for new characters to develop and grow as fan favorites on Grey's Anatomy.

The long-running ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy has had a complex relationship with its heart surgeons over the years. Fans of the show may have even forgotten about Dr. Erica Hahn from earlier seasons because her time on the show, though impactful, was so short-lived. However, despite her character's limited screen time over several seasons, Hahn became integral to the growth and development of some of the show's core characters. When she left the show, a heart-shaped hole would not be filled at Seattle Grace Hospital long-term for many years to come.

Like many main Grey's Anatomy cast members before her,...

Ellen Pompeo's Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Finale Return Teased By Star: "Coming Full Circle"
Image
Kim Raver confirms that Ellen Pompeo will return as Meredith for the finale two episodes of Grey's Anatomy season 20. Raver teases "full circle" moments and a "cliffhanger" ending. Meredith has remained an important character in the show despite Pompeo no longer being a series regular.

Grey's Anatomy star Kim Raver teases Ellen Pompeo's return in the final episodes of season 20. Created by Shonda Rhimes, the hit medical drama returned earlier this spring for season 20, which picks up after the intense Grey's Anatomy season 19 finale. Now, the show is gearing up for its final two episodes, which will feature more of Pompeo's Meredith Grey, who is no longer a series regular.

In a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Raver, who plays Dr. Teddy Altman, teases what's to come from the Grey's Anatomy season 20 finale and penultimate episode.

According to the star, viewers can expect a number of "full circle" moments,...

Entitled “God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust,” the film will be released theatrically in the U.S. this fall, but, like the rest of Pinnacle’s slate, foreign territories are available to buyers. The new “God’s Not Dead” film follows the series’ protagonist, Rev. David Hill (played once again by David A.R. White), who, with the help of a skilled political strategist, runs for political office on a platform of preserving “religious freedom” and healing divisions. The cast also includes Dean Cain, who appeared in the first film in the franchise and is best known for “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” as well as Isaiah Washington (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Ray Wise (“X-Men: First Class”).

George Clooney’s Forgotten Movie Role Alongside an MCU Superstar is What Helped Him Get Over the 1997 Batman & Robin Disaster
Image
George Clooney has been in the movie business for over a few years. Through his lengthy career, he has experienced the entire spectrum of success. He has had some massive box-office hits and has been a part of high-profile bombs. The most well-known blunder of his career has to be his 1997 film, Batman and Robin.

George Clooney as Batman

There were many reasons why the movie failed. Its inability to take on a serious tone, the joke-like appearances of beloved characters, and its writing, were just a few reasons why the movie was completely shredded by critics. It is safe to assume that after this very public failure, Clooney needed a break and needed to work on a good film.

That was when Steven Soderbergh’s Out of Sight entered the picture. It would seem that the atmosphere this movie provided was exactly what Clooney needed after the DC film’s failure.

Steven Soderbergh And Russo Brothers Talk ‘Welcome to Collinwood,’ Marvel & Their “Tremendous Hope” For The Future Of The Movie Biz — Sands Film Festival
Image
A small piece of contemporary cinema history was written last night in St Andrews, Scotland when Steven Soderbergh sat down with Joe and Anthony Russo on stage at the Sands International Film Festival to discuss their 2002 collaboration Welcome to Collinwood.

Produced by Soderbergh and George Clooney who also stars alongside William H. Macy, Isaiah Washington, Sam Rockwell, Luis Guzmán, and Patricia Clarkson, Welcome to Collinwood was the second feature from the Russos following their debut feature Pieces, which bombed out of Slamdance in 1997.

“There was zero interest in the film from anybody but this man over here,” Anthony said of Pieces, pointing towards Soderbergh. The sex, lies and videotape filmmaker had been present at the doomed Pieces screening at Slamdance and reached out to the directing duo to impart some wisdom.

“It was insanely ambitious and dense,” Soderbergh told Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr, who moderated the talk, of Pieces.

Why Jerrika Hinton Left Grey's Anatomy
Image
After 19 seasons, Meredith Grey is leaving Grey's Anatomy, but for some characters like Stephanie Edwards, exits happen much sooner. Dr. Edwards had a dynamic four-season arc, with her final season including an explosive ending that left fans shocked and saddened. Jerrika Hinton's departure from the show was due to creative reasons, sparking rumors of tensions with Ellen Pompeo, though the true reason remains unknown.

ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy is undergoing a major cast shake-up. The series has introduced a new class of residents while Ellen Pompeo's title character Meredith Grey is departing after an impressive 19-season stint. But for every long-running Grey's Anatomy character, there's another whose tenure doesn't last nearly as long.

One such example is Dr. Stephanie Edwards, portrayed by Jerrika Hinton. The character was introduced during Season 9 as a recurring player before being promoted to the main cast in Season 10. She left the show in...

This ‘Grey's Anatomy’s Storyline Isn't as Bad as You Remember
Image
Given that Grey’s Anatomy has surpassed twenty seasons at this point, it’s no surprise that there have been storylines fans didn’t enjoy. Whether it be that the storyline was heartbreaking and sad, as is the case with a lot of the series. Or perhaps just flat-out boring, or cringe-worthy. Whatever the reason may be, Grey’s Anatomy has had its fair share of flops. But one of the most disliked storylines happened back when the show was in its prime, and it has to do with Denny Duquette (Jeffery Dean Morgan). Denny was a patient back in Season 2 of Grey’s Anatomy. He was a patient of Dr. Burke (Isaiah Washington) and soon became a love interest of Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) — which is looked down upon even more than an intern dating an attending. Izzie and Denny had a season-long whirlwind romance, where both fell head over heels for one another.

The 10 Biggest TV Show Cliffhangers Of All Time, Ranked
Image
Warning: This list contains spoilers for several TV shows.

Cliffhanger moments are a key tool in keeping TV audiences engaged. Grey's Anatomy, Cobra Kai, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sherlock, and Lost contain significant cliffhangers. Some cliffhangers in TV shows have never been fully resolved or answered.

Cliffhangers are the bread and butter of TV shows that want to keep an audience engaged, which is why there is much debate surrounding the biggest TV cliffhangers of all time. Inherently, TV show cliffhangers annoy fans because it means they have to wait months, if not years, to find out what happens next. Some of the biggest cliffhangers are surrounded in controversy due to what people see as fabricated suspense that doesn't serve the story otherwise.

However, cliffhangers that are well-executed make for a great scene in their own right, in addition to keeping the debate alive. Landmark TV shows can create massive...

Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 Can’t Kill Off Teddy Without Bringing Back This Character
Image
Teddy's heart condition sets up a new chapter in Grey Sloan - will Cristina be the one to see her through? Cristina and Teddy's mentorship showcased in seasons past could come full circle in Teddy's time of need. Teddy and Owen's relationship history adds complexity to the idea of Cristina's return to Grey's Anatomy.

Grey’s Anatomy season 20 can’t kill off Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) without bringing back one key character from the show's earliest seasons. The Grey's Anatomy season 19 ending saw Teddy, Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital's newly minted Chief of Surgery, collapsing en route to an Or. In the episode's final moments, thrill-seeker Sam Sutton's (Sam Page) aorta fully transected, prompting Teddy to prepare for surgery. However, before Chief Altman was able to perform a thoracotomy or cross-clamp Sam's aorta, Teddy became Grey Sloan's latest patient — a moniker she definitely didn't intend to add to her list.

In an ironic twist of fate,...

When Will Grey's Anatomy End?
Image
Grey's Anatomy, the longest-running TV medical drama, is entering its 20th season, but many fans believe it has overstayed its welcome. The original cast of Grey's Anatomy has mostly left the show, and viewership numbers have significantly decreased from its peak. The show has become known for its outlandish and unrealistic storylines, with characters facing improbable situations and miraculous recoveries.

This spring, the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital will open its doors to patients for the 20th consecutive year. Grey's Anatomy is set to debut its strike-delayed milestone season on ABC this spring. So yes, the show is still running. Launched in March 2005, Grey's depicts the personal and professional lives of doctors and medical personnel at the familiar Seattle hospital. It is the longest-running TV medical drama and ABC's all-time longest-running primetime scripted show. Over those two decades, we've seen more than our fair share of doctors pass through the hospital halls.

Grey's Anatomy: The Dark Reason Izzie Saw Denny When She Hallucinated
Image
Izzie hallucinated Denny after his death because she had cancer, causing her to experience guilt, shame, and self-blame. Izzie's connection to Denny led her to use the money he left her to fund the Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic. Izzie's wedding to Alex helped her let go of her hallucinations and marked a sweet moment in their relationship.

One of the most heartbreaking and unforgettable storylines in Grey’s Anatomy was that of Izzie Stevens and Denny Duquette — an arc whose tragedy was compounded by Izzie getting cancer during the fifth season. While the series explains why she started hallucinating Denny after he died, there’s a darker, more tragic reason for her hallucinations. Grey’s Anatomy follows the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they try to balance their professional and personal lives, and through season 19 has been led by Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).

Meredith’s journey started as an...
