  • Washburn said that, as a child actress, her favorite adult female co-star was Loretta Young. She appeared in four (4) episodes of The Loretta Young Show (1953) (between 1954-56) and in 24 episodes of The New Loretta Young Show (1962) (between 1962-63). Washburn and Young became friends despite 30 years of age difference. Washburn's favorite male co-star was Jack Benny and she spoke of his generosity, despite the comic media portrayals of him as a tightwad. She appeared on The Jack Benny Program (1950) twice between 1952-54.
  • In 1951, she appears in the first Superman theatrical film, entitled Superman and the Mole-Men (1951), starring George Reeves. It would eventually be sold to television and become the 2-part episode of first season of Adventures of Superman (1952). For television it was retitled as The Unknown People: Part I (1954) and The Unknown People: Part II (1954).
  • She appeared in three episodes of Quinn Martin's The Streets of San Francisco (1972) with Karl Malden and Michael Douglas. Her episodes were "Most Feared in the Jungle" (1973), where she portrayed Miss Rayfield, an unwed mother, "Letters from the Grave" (1975) where she played an Alcatraz tour guide, and as Michelle Rhodes in "Let's Pretend We're Strangers" (1977), where her character was the roommate of a murder victim.
  • In 1963, at the age of 20, had a hit record called "Everybody Loves Saturday Night" on Smash Records. The flip side was entitled "The Heart You Break".
  • Perhaps best-known for her role as Lieutenant Arlene Galway on the original Star Trek series in the episode "The Deadly Years (1967)".
  • Interviewed in "Growing Up on the Set: Interviews with 39 Former Child Actors of Classic Film and Television", by Tom Goldrup and Jim Goldrup (McFarland, 2002).
  • On June 25, 2023, Beverly won the "Festival Award" as "Best Actress" for her portrayal of Reyna Belasco Rosenthal in the documentary/drama "When the World Came to San Francisco." The award was given by the "Gladiator Film Festival" in Istanbul, Turkey.
  • Sister of George Washburn and aunt of actress Darlene Tompkins.
  • Beverly starred in the feature documentary "When the World Came to San Francisco" (2015) which won the 2022 Andromeda Film Festival's "DaVinci Special Award" for Best Documentary (2022).
  • Interviewed in Tom Weaver's book "Eye on Science Fiction" (McFarland & Co., 2003).
  • Lives in Las Vegas,Nevada.
