Watson Season 1 Ending: Stephens & Sasha's Emotional Moment & Their Relationship Future Addressed By Star
Image
While Watson’s season 1 finale might have seen Stephens and Sasha share an emotional moment, star Peter Mark Kendall is not yet sure what path is best for the couple’s future. Watson's entire cast of characters is engaging, but the Sherlock Holmes re-imagining threw the entire team into disarray with its dramatic finale. Watson season 2 will soon pick up where the first outing left off, but it is not just Morris Chestnut's Dr. John H. Watson who viewers will be eager to see more of.

Mark Kendall’s interview with Screenrant saw the actor make no promises about the pair's future. After Watson’s season 1 finale, the relationship between Stephens and Sasha is a stranger place than ever before. Showrunner Craig Sweeny has already revealed that season 2 will take the finale's confession and expand on it, changing the dynamic between the duo. Per Kendall:

“I thought it was really cool.

Watson Season 2 Filming Start Window Revealed By Star After Shocking Season 1 Ending
Image
Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Watson season 1 finale

While Watson season 2 might still be a few months away, the show’s star confirmed in a recent interview that filming will be underway relatively soon. It might seem like it is a little early to start thinking about Watson season 2. The Sherlock Holmes re-imagining stars Morris Chestnut as Sherlock’s famous sidekick, John H Watson, who returns to work as a doctor after the apparent death of his friend and colleague Sherlock Holmes before the series began. Although Watson might try to leave the world of mysteries behind, Sherlock’s enemies aren’t quite done with him yet.

Speaking to Screenrant, Stephens/Adam Croft’s actor Peter Mark Kendall revealed when they might start working on Watson season 2. Watson’s battle of wits against Randall Park’s Moriarty defined most of season 1’s story until Watson season 1’s shocking finale...

Adam & Stephens' Watson Season 1 Ending Fates & How It Will Impact Season 2 Explained By Star
Image
Although Watson’s season 1 finale left Stephens and Adam in a tricky position, actor Peter Mark Kendall is optimistic about the pair’s future. Watson's entire cast of characters is fun, but Peter Mark Kendall pulling double duty as twins Stephens and Adam may be the highlight of the Sherlock Holmes re-imagining. Unless Watson season 2 introduces even more complicated characters, these two brothers, who share everything from medical careers to love interests, are its true breakout stars.

Speaking to Screenrant, actor Peter Mark Kendall reflected on how dramatic the finale was for the twins. Morris Chestnut's Dr. John H. Watson may have saved Stephens and Adam from Moriarty’s machinations in Watson’s season 1 finale but this doesn’t mean everything is well between the twins. Adam is dating Stephens’ ex, the lawyer Lauren, while Stephens has complex feelings for Sasha. Meanwhile, Ingrid’s betrayal of Stephens led him...

Watson Season 1, Episode 2 Review: CBS Has a More Human Medical Mystery
Image
The following contains spoilers from Watson Season 1, Episode 2, "Redcoat," which debuted Sunday, Feb. 16 on CBS. It also contains a brief mention of self-harm. If you are struggling, call 988 in the US or click here.

The second episode of CBS'Watsongives the Sherlock Holmes-inspired medical mystery show a more human approach. In Season 1, Episode 2, "Redcoat," a man who believes he's terminally ill encourages someone to take his life so his family can get an insurance payout. Naturally, this goes awry, and it's up to John H. Watson to save him in more ways than one.

In "Redcoat," the show delves more into the mystery of the characters than the medical malady at play. As such, the goal is less about showing off Watson's medical deductive prowess and more about giving Tanner some hope. Episode 2 is a marked improvement on the Watson series premiere, while also teasing the show's larger villain.

The famous detective duo of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson was introduced in the 1887 Arthur Conan Doyle detective novel A Study in Scarlet. The characters were later widely popularized through a series of films starring Basil Rathbone as Holmes, beginning with the 1939 Gothic mystery film The Hound of the Baskervilles, in which Rathbone’s Holmes is introduced as a dry-humored, obsessive follower of logic and reason, while Watson, played by Nigel Bruce, appears as Holmes’ lovable but often clueless assistant.

One of the first and best films to abandon this formula is the 1979 mystery thriller filmMurder by Decree, in which Holmes, played by Christopher Plummer, and Watson, played by James Mason, are approached to...

The Best Hammer Horror Movies
Image
Hammer Films was founded in 1934, but it took an eleven year hiatus on the way to the ‘50s, the decade when the company entered the era it’s best known for. In 1955, the sci-fi horror film The Quatermass Xperiment became their first major international success, inspiring Hammer to start building toward becoming one of the most popular genre companies of all time. Since this year marks the 90th anniversary of Hammer Films, we decided it was time to put together a list of some of The Best Hammer Horror Movies. Here we go:

Horror Of Dracula (1958)

Sure, this is yet another adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula; a re-telling of the story that any horror watcher will see roughly fifty versions of over the course of their fandom. But director Terence Fisher and screenwriter Jimmy Sangster brought some twists to this one that are not present in others and shuffled some of the characters.

This New Sherlock Holmes TV Story Is More Exciting Than Sherlock Season 5 With Benedict Cumberbatch
Image
A new Sherlock Holmes TV adaptation is more exciting than Benedict Cumberbatch's return in Sherlock season 5. Kit Harrington's casting in a Sherlock ghost story brings a supernatural twist and adds personal vulnerability to the character. Sherlock Season 5 may not be necessary, but movies or TV specials can provide fresh narratives and diverse interpretations of Holmes.

A new Sherlock Holmes TV adaptation seems a lot more exciting than watching Benedict Cumberbatch's return in Sherlock season 5. After Sherlock Holmes first appeared in print in 1887, he was portrayed for the first time in an audio-visual medium in an 1899 play. This was followed by the character's first screen appearance in a 1900 Mutoscope film, Sherlock Holmes Baffled. Since then, Sherlock Homes has been portrayed by over 75 actors, holding a world record of being the most portrayed human character in television and film.

Even though so many Sherlock Holmes adaptations exist in film and television,...

New Sherlock Holmes series in the works – but it won’t feature Sherlock Holmes
Image
A new series based on Sherlock Holmes is in development... but there’s a catch.

Titled Watson, the new TV show will reportedly not feature the deerstalker-wearing detective as a character at all.

Instead, the programme will focus solely on the exploits of Holmes’ dutiful assistant, Dr John H Watson.

According to TV Line, Watson, which will air on the US network CBS, follows Watson in the aftermath of Sherlock Holmes’ death.

In the series, Holmes has been killed by his criminal nemesis, Professor James Moriarty.

The show will be written by Craig Sweeny, who has some history with the subject matter, having previously written on the the CBS series Elementary.

Running from 2012 to 2019, Elementary starred Johnny Lee Miller as Holmes and Lucy Liu as a gender-flipped Dr Watson. However, the new series will reportedly be entirely unrelated to this.

Deadline previously described the premise of the series as follows:...

Sherlock Comic-Con Panel Recap: Chemistry, Christmas, Moriarty, Irene, and Much More
Even for the BBC, a channel with no shortage of inspired and timeless programming, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’s Sherlock has been a unique triumph of mystery-centric television, with a consistently moving and involving undercurrent of witty drama. At the center of it all, as always, is the relationship between Sherlock Holmes and John H. Watson, the greatest detective of all time and his ever-wise, insightful partner, and the chemistry between stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman has been a major drawing point for all three series of the program, which capped off its best series to date last year. So, its understandable that at the Sherlock Comic-Con panel, moderated by Sandra Gonzalez and featuring Moffat, executive producer Sue Vertue, and co-star Rupert Graves, who plays Di Greg Lestrade, the big questions surrounded the impending Victorian Special and Series 4, which all three were quick to say was a long,...

New images and scene dialogue from Sherlock Holmes!
A slew of new images have been released for Guy Ritchie's highly anticipated Sherlock Holmes. The film, which is due in theatres later this year, is director Guy Ritchie's own take on the source material, with the film consciously moving away from more classic interpretations.

USA Today have also spoken to the actors on set, and have seen further proof that this Sherlock Holmes is nothing like the one featured in Arthur Conan Doyle's famous books:

Jude Law's dapper Dr. John H. Watson, preparing to leave both his bachelor and sleuthing days behind, packs up his belongings in the tidier portion of the apartment. Robert Downey Jr.'s wiry Sherlock Holmes, deeply perturbed by his friend's pending departure after a decade together as crime-fighting colleagues, answers a knock at the door.

Suddenly, a recently deceased body is dropped on a table in the middle of the room by two constables.
