Charlotte Kirk is racking up the credits at a rapid pace. The actress, best known for her collaborations with Neil Marshall (Duchess, The Lair, The Reckoning, and the upcoming Compulsion), was working on the action thriller Myra back in October, took a role in the horror comedy CATnip earlier this year, and now she’s already in production on the Jack the Ripper spoof Jackie the Stripper. Fittingly, the filming of this one is taking place in London. Some behind-the-scenes images can be seen on the Jackie the Stripper Instagram page.

A new take on the story of serial killer Jack the Ripper is in the works with writer-director Michael Head. Production on the comedy spoof film, Jackie the Stripper, is currently underway in London with Frankham Films producing.

Per Deadline, The Reckoning’s Charlotte Kirk is set to star as the titular character in Jackie the Stripper, alongside Jamie Lomas asJack the Ripper. The rest of the cast includes Katie Price (Sharknado 5: Global Swarming), Chloe Meadows (Stigma), Kimberly Wyatt (Almost Never), and James Phelps (known for his portrayal of Fred Weasley in the Harry Pottermovie franchise). Gary Webster, Sophie Rankin, Perry Bensen, Amber Doig Thorne, Martin Sherwood, and Chrissie Wunna will also star.

"Set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888, Kirk stars as Jackie/Lottie who finds herself plagued by the infamous Jack The Ripper (Lomas), who is head of a secret organization known only as The Court," the official synopsis reads.

Jack the Ripper, a comedic spoof of the notorious serial killer, is currently in production in London, Deadline reports.

Charlotte Kirk (The Reckoning), Jamie Lomas (“EastEnders”), Katie Price (Sharknado: Global Swarming), Kimberly Wyatt (of the Pussycat Dolls), and James Phelps (Harry Potter franchise) are leading the cast.

The ensemble also includes Chloe Meadows, Gary Webster, Sophie Rankin, Perry Bensen (This Is England), Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), Martin Sherwood, and Chrissie Wunna.
