New Trailer for T2: Trainspotting Says It's an "Intense Emotional Rollercoaster"
We've got a new trailer for you to watch for Danny Boyle's long awaited Trainspotting sequel, T2: Trainspotting. It's a fantastic trailer that is filled with praise from critics who loved the movie. If you were hoping that this would be a great film, it looks like that's what we're going to get. The trailer is also filled with some fun new footage.

I loved the first Trainspotting film. Regardless of how dark and depressing it was, there were still life lessons to be learned from it. This sequel seems like it's going to have a more positive inspiring tone, though, as Renton comes back clean of heroin, and he wants to help his friend Spud get clean and find purpose. Don't worry, there's still going to lots of crazy shit that goes down!

Ewan McGregor returns to the role of Renton, Ewen Bremner as Spud, Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy,...

Another Full Trailer for 'T2: Trainspotting' - Danny Boyle's First Sequel
"You're an addict. So be addicted. Just be addicted to something else." Sony has debuted another new, full international trailer for Danny Boyle's T2: Trainspotting 2, arriving in theaters in the Us next March. Believe it or not, this is Danny Boyle's first sequel - has hasn't ever made a sequel for any of his other movies (yet). This new trailer opens and closes with the same footage from the other full trailer, but there's a bunch of new scenes in the middle and some different editing choices and plot details. The four old friends are all back: Ewan McGregor as Renton, Ewen Bremner as Spud, Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy, and Robert Carlyle as Begbie. The cast also includes Kelly Macdonald, author Irvine Welsh, Simon Weir and Karl Argue. This looks like it will be worth the wait after all these years. Looking forward to seeing it soon.

Fantastic Full Trailer for Danny Boyle's T2: Trainspotting!
“Choose life, choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and hope that someone, somewhere cares.”

The first full trailer has been released for Danny Boyle's T2: Trainspotting, and it looks like the great sequel that fans were hoping for. I loved the 1996 film Trainspotting, and the trailer for this sequel has a very familiar vibe that takes us right back into the wild and crazy world of these fascinating characters, only it's 20 years later.

Ewan McGregor returns to the role of Renton as he embarks on another drug-fueled adventure, and he is joined by Ewen Bremner as Spud, Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy, and Robert Carlyle as Begbie. The rest of the cast features many other familiar faces such is Kelly Macdonald, author Irvine Welsh, Simon Weir, and Karl Argue. This is the synopsis that was released:

First there was an opportunity......then there was a betrayal.

Twenty years have gone by.

DVD Review: A Spanking in Paradise
A Spanking In Paradise

Stars: Andrew Hawley, Simon Weir, Leo Horsfield, Susan Robertson | Written and Directed by Wayne Thallon

A Spanking In Paradise is the story of a quiet newly graduated lawyer who decides to help his uncle working at his brothel for a month. The film, billed as a dark comedy, delves into the seedy underbelly of Edinburgh’s brothels, supposedly based on director Wayne Thallon’s own experiences.

The film was one of Edinburgh International Film Festival’s official selections and was filmed over the course of three weeks in January 2010. On the website, it’s billed as the “Scottish Four Lions” and “the movie hit to rival Trainspotting”.

Are these reviews accurate? In a word, no. The film does it’s best to emulate the dialogue of a Tarantino film injected with humour, rambling Scottish gangster stories are the order of the day as we’re introduced to Uncle Rab,...

Eiff: A Spanking In Paradise
If the title doesn’t get you first, the promise of ‘a comedy set in a brothel’ ought to. Think ‘Scottish Four Lions’ for deadpan underdog calamities, and you get the idea. Writer-director Wayne Thallon’s 2011 Edinburgh Film Festival closer, A Spanking In Paradise, is a spankin’, swind screamer of pure shant lunacy, right from the grubby black heart of Edinburgh’s underworld.

Naïve, young lawyer Justin (Andrew Hawley) has one month to wait for his Us visa, and decides to spend it visiting long-lost family in Edinburgh. His charismatic Uncle Rab (Simon Weir) is a hard-nosed brothel owner who loves his Mum, but has a rep to protect, and sets about having his nephew working on the reception and doing thankless errands. Justin soon finds that the job is more purgatory than paradise, as he comes in contact with a whole number of dubious characters – but can he keep...
