Born in Tyrol Austria, Thomas Weingartner enrolled at the University of
Music and Performing Arts in 1996. In 2002 he completed his studies in
the field of screenplay writing and dramaturgy. Since then he works as
a screenwriter for Austrian and German television - on many occasions
in a team with Stefan Hafner.
