HBO’s set a January 27, 2024 premiere date for Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero. The documentary from directors directed by Carlos López Estrada and Zac Manuel is a behind-the-scenes look at the Grammy Award-winner’s “Long Live Montero” tour.

In addition to interviews with Lil Nas X, the documentary features his show producer Saul Levitz, manager Adam Leber, creative director/stylist Hodo Musa, lead choreographer/show director Sean Bankhead, choreography assistant Christian Owens, horse designer Margot Rada, and tour videographer Aaron Idelson. Family members Chase White, Lamarco Hill, Robert Sleepy, Tramon Hill, Mia Stafford, and Robert Stafford also participate in the documentary which premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival.

After a long wait, the second installment of Chase White's fan-made web series Doctor Who: Alternate Empire has been posted online.  It stars Julian Bane as a Doctor with an American accent who stumbles into an alternate version of the Star Wars universe.  The episodes have been short, but the Tardis control room set is a piece of work, and there are some interesting settings and effects.  K-9 has been recast from the static custom model of the first episode to what appears to be a Character Options remote control version.  And if you pay attention you may spot a modified Ben 10 omnitrix.  This seems to be the work of a fan of both franchises with some resources who's having a lot of fun.  What are your thoughts on fan-made mashups like this?  And how about this Doctor?  The new episode is posted below, and just in...
