Grantchester Season 9 Ending Explained: Who’s the Killer?
Image
Warning: finale plot spoilers for Grantchester season nine.

Grantchester season nine started with Will Davenport (Tom Brittney) finding out that he’s being reassigned to Newcastle to serve a parish that needs strong leadership. Reverend Alphy Kotteram (Rishi Nair) arrives to fill the vacancy but is met with suspicion and an incorrect accusation of breaking into the vicarage as no one left him a key. Alphy is initially hesitant to help Geordie with his cases due to past negative encounters with police. However, a family feud between parishioners leads Alphy to realize that Geordie is interested in the truth, not personal power.

As the season progresses, it becomes clear there is one overarching mystery that connects several of the cases Alphy and Geordie worked on together. With spoilers ahead (especially for UK viewers who are still awaiting an air date), let’s break down what happens in the season finale.

Fringe - 3.06 6995 kHz Review by A.D.Harris
The feeling I had about 6995kHz, the sixth episode of Fringe's third season, is that it felt much more old school fringe, but had the added current storyline revolving around the Olivias as well as some new and exciting mythology. And for those reasons, I loved this episode more than the previous five, which is no discredit to any of them, but this one worked for me on another level. That's not to say there aren't a few disappointments, but I'll get to that.

The episode revolved around a series of 'Number Radio Channels' which are basically when some numbers are repeated at random times, from an unknown source and with seemingly no meaning. In the Fringe Universe this has been going for years, Massive Dynamic with some records of the numbers, but as fringe 'pop up character' and bookstore owner Edward Markham stated, he believes the numbers may...
