Trivia

Peter White

Edit
  • Was part of the original 1968 cast of the hit Off-Broadway play, "The Boys in the Band." In it, he played Alan, the married man who serves as the main catalyst in the play. Peter and the entire company transferred their roles brilliantly to the 1970 film version.

  • Attended Northwestern University (1955-1959) and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Communications.
  • Myrna Loy convinced him to take the role in the stage production of "The Boys In The Band".
  • Later moved from Daytime to Primetime Television work and then on to major Feature Film projects including "Mother", "Dave", "Thirteen Days", etc.) playing scores of buttoned down executive and politicos, both honorable and deceptively unscrupulous.
  • Co-Founder and member of the New York Actor's Theatre, Off-Broadway production of Brecht's "Galileo" in 1979.
  • Attended the Yale School of Drama (1959-1962) and received M.F.A.
  • Co-starred in the original Broadway production of James Kirkwood's "P.S. Your Cat is Dead".
