Kang-sheng Lee and Anong Houngheuangsy in Days (2020)
Who is fake Rafe on Days of our Lives? That’s a question many Days fans are asking as faux Rafe, aka Arnold Feniger, popped up in Salem to cause trouble for Ej (Daniel Feuerriegel).

It’s been a minute since Arnold was on the canvas.

In fact, fake Rafe hasn’t been around in over a decade.

So, if you are a bit confused about the man who looks but acts nothing like Rafe, we have a little refresher for you.

After all, today, Rafe (Galen Gering) came face to face with his double, adding a new twist to this story.

Days Of Our Lives December 24: Here’s Why and How Rafe’s Doppleganger Arnold Feniger is Back
Image
Teasers suggested that an old acquaintance of Ej’s would pay a visit. And wouldn’t you know it, in the Tuesday, December 24 episode of Days of Our Lives, Rafe’s evil twin Arnold Feniger showed up at the Dimera mansion fresh from Argentina. He instantly became a problem for Ej and, obviously, for Rafe and Jada.

In 2011, Arnold Feniger was a low-level criminal Stefano (the late Joseph Mascolo) and Ej (then James Scott) hired to break up Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Rafe (Galen Gering) and make their lives hell. After plastic surgery transformed Arnold (also Galen Gering) into Rafe’s spitting image, he assumed Rafe’s identity.

The switch happened after Rafe was hospitalized following a car accident. Needless to say, Fake Rafe, or Fafe, wreaked major havoc. He replaced Rafe in every way, meaning he raped Sami. He also killed Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) mother,...

1911: One of the greatest entertainers of all time, Lucille Ball, was born (100 years ago!). She died in 1989 at age 77. There are some interesting ties between Lucy and soap operas. Y&R's Melody Thomas Scott is a founding board member of the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center, which runs the Lucy-Desi Museum in Ball's home town of Jamestown, NY. The center is trying to set a world record today for “most people dressed as Lucy Ricardo in one place, at one time.” Oltl's Robin Strasser's sons, Nicholas and Benjamin, are Lucy's step-grandchildren (through Laurence Luckinbill's marriage to Lucie Arnaz). General Hospital's Maurice Benard played Desi Arnaz in a television movie (read our interview with Benard about the role here). Lucy's also made a guest appearance on The Carol Burnett Show and appeared in the "As The Stomach Turns" parody.

She also featured...
