He was a writer and director, known for In Search of Kundun with Martin Scorsese (1998), Reconciliation: Mandela's Miracle (2010) and Intimate Affairs (2001). He was married to Carole J. Wilson. He died on 26 June 2014 in Westlake, California, USA.
